Astros Interested In Nathan Eovaldi
Nathan Eovaldi, according to sources. Eovaldi is a native of Texas and had a fine season in 2018 with the Rays and Red Sox, going 6-7 with a 3.81 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and career-high 8.2 K/9 over 22 outings (21 starts). He was even more dominant in the postseason with the Red Sox on their way to the World Series championship, and the right-hander has a fastball that can reach triple digits. Houston is in need of rotation depth as they are expected to lose both Dallas Keuchel and Charlie Morton in free agency, and Lance McCullers Jr. will miss all of the 2019 season.
