Anthony Richardson Getting Plenty Of First-Team Reps
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts rookie first-round quarterback Anthony Richardson is practically taking all of the first-team repetitions at training camp practice again on Thursday. Richardson has seen the first-team reps at practice since returning from surgery on his nasal septum earlier this week. It's worth noting for the 21-year-old, but he hasn't won the QB competition over Gardner Minshew by any means. Richardson has also reportedly been experiencing growing pains as a passer, which shouldn't come as a huge surprise. The Colts are going to give him every chance to win the job in camp and the preseason, and his off-the-charts physicality makes him very impressive, but Richardson is surely going to have his ups and downs as a passer whenever he makes his NFL debut in 2023.
