Anthony Rendon Sitting On Sunday With Minor Groin Injury
Anthony Rendon (groin) is sitting out on Sunday as the team closes out their series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Rendon suffered a minor left groin injury while making a throw in Saturday's game. Jose Rojas is getting the start at third base and batting sixth in the game. Rendon is off to a decent start to the year. He's reached base in all but one of the eight games he's played in. He hasn't delivered much power yet. He has only one extra-base hit, a home run that came in Saturday's game. He should be considered day-to-day with a chance to return on Monday when the team plays the Kansas City Royals.
