The New York Mets acquired center fielder Cedric Mullins from the Orioles for right-handed pitching prospects Raimon Gomez, Anthony Nunez, and Chandler Marsh. Nunez is a reliever who's only been pitching for roughly a year and ranked as the number 14 prospect in the Mets system by MLB Pipeline. He boasts a 60-grade slider and changeup, both of which are capable of generating swing and miss, and have fueled him to a 1.58 ERA, 0.60 WHIP, and a 40 percent strikeout rate in 40 innings between High-A and Double-A this season. His fastball reaches 96 mph, and he also mixes in a cutter. While there's some potential for Núñez to develop into more, he most likely profiles as a reliever.--Kyle McCarthy
