Detroit Red Wings right wing Anthony Mantha scored a power-play goal during Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. The potent power forward now has seven goals, four assists, and 41 shots on net through nine games this season. Mantha is proving that his breakout candidacy was legitimate, as he has been the most impressive Red Wing through the early portion of the season. Sophomore defenseman Dennis Cholowski also netted a power-play goal in the loss.
