4 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels activated catcher Max Stassi (concussion) from the injured list on Tuesday and optioned left-handed pitcher Jose Quijada to the minor leagues in a corresponding move. The Angels also announced that catcher Drew Butera cleared waivers and will return to Triple-A. Before the concussion, Stassi was slashing .241/.313/.345 with a home run and an RBI in just 29 at-bats. Despite the subpar surface statistics, the 30-year-old backstop had been hitting the ball hard. He will return to a timeshare with the veteran Kurt Suzuki, which will keep his playing time limited. Only consider adding Stassi in deeper two-catcher fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
