Jordan Romano Heads to Injured List
Jordan Romano (finger) was placed on the 15-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's game against the New York Mets. This is probably the best move for the Phillies given how much Romano has struggled lately. The right-hander has allowed 10 earned runs over his last four outings. Now, he'll get a few weeks to recover from his finger issue and hopefully get back on track. In a corresponding move, relievers Daniel Robert and Lou Trivino have been recalled from Triple-A. The Phillies had two open spots with Romano going down and Joe Ross being released. None of these pitchers figure to have any fantasy value.
