Amari Cooper Wants To Be Cowboy For Life
5 years agoDallas Cowboys impending free-agent wide receiver Amari Cooper said he wants "to be a Cowboy for life." "I love being a Dallas Cowboy. I love everything about it. I think about it every day," Cooper said. "Just the aura of being a Dallas Cowboy, you can't beat it." With Dallas expected to use the franchise tag on quarterback Dak Prescott, the Cowboys will have to work out an extension with Cooper to keep him around. Cooper led the Cowboys in catches (79), receiving yards (1,189) and touchdowns (eight) in 2019. Losing him to the open market would be bad news for Prescott's fantasy upside moving forward. Similarly, Cooper's stock as a top-10 fantasy wideout might take a hit if he leaves Dallas.
