1 year agoMinnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison (undisclosed) was present for the team's walkthrough practice on Wednesday after he was seen limping at the end of training camp practice on Tuesday. Kene Nwangwu (undisclosed) was also back out there. With both Mattison and Nwangwu out on Tuesday, Ty Chandler failed to stand out with the first-team offense. Nwangwu's speed and versatility could add a dimension to Minnesota's backfield, but it's unlikely he'll shoulder a massive load unless Mattison misses time with an injury. Mattison has little competition behind him in 2023 with the Vikes moving on from Dalvin Cook. The 25-year-old has never put in a full season as a lead back in the NFL, but because of the volume he's expected to see alone, he should be seen as an RB2 in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
