Aaron Rodgers Hints At Coming Back
Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) wrote in a post on social media that he is "completely heartbroken and moving through all of the emotions" after tearing his left Achilles in the Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. "The night is darkest before the dawn. And I shall rise yet again." Both head coach Robert Saleh and owner Woody Johnson expect the four-time MVP to return in 2024. However, the 39-year-old is the oldest player in the NFL and now faces several months of grueling rehab ahead of him. It's going to be tough for Rodgers to make a successful comeback at his age, but it's not out of the question. For now, the Jets will roll with Zach Wilson as their starter under center with Tim Boyle backing him up.
