Aaron Judge Likely To Play Left Field Next Week
2 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that outfielder Aaron Judge will play left field "soon." "Sometime, probably next week," Boone said. Judge, who broke the American League single-season home run record in 2022 with 62 home runs, is set to play some left field this year in the Bronx. The 30-year-old last played left field in Triple-A in 2016, but it should be a seamless transition for him at Yankee Stadium. The four-time All-Star and last year's AL MVP will be the first or second player off the board in the first round of fantasy drafts after his monster season last year. In addition to his record-breaking 62 long balls, Judge had a ridiculous .311/.425/.686 slash line with a 1.111 OPS, 131 RBI, 133 runs scored and 16 stolen bases in 157 regular season games.
