Aaron Jones May Have More Competition For Touches
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said he needed both running backs Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams, but that ideally the team would add a third body to the backfield. Jones had a breakout season and was the bell-cow back once Williams was injured in 2019. He finished third in fantasy points behind Christian McCaffrey and Derrick Henry and was tied for the most rushing touchdowns with 16. However, if Williams remains healthy and the Packers use another back alongside Jones, his fantasy ceiling could be limited. Because of his huge 2019 season, Jones will be a high-end RB1, but he could also be a potential bust.
