NFL DFS Lineup Picks For FanDuel, DraftKings - Broncos vs. Bengals Showdown (Week 17)

Joe Burrow - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS and Betting Picks

Koby has his top NFL DFS lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings for today's Broncos vs. Bengals showdown slate for Week 17.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! We have a loaded Saturday slate this week with quite a few games with playoff implications. This one has the most of all, as the Broncos win and they are in. If they lose, the Bengals, Dolphins, and Colts all stay alive in the playoff hunt. So, this game has a lot on the line, and I would expect a shootout in this one!

We have been pretty successful so far with these showdown slates, and hopefully, that trend will continue from last year into this year. Most of us started our fantasy journeys with football, so it's always nice when it comes around. Thanks to today's advanced analytics, I'll do my best to provide you with as much in-depth analysis as possible regarding positional matchups.

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Broncos vs. Bengals NFL DFS showdown slate on December 28. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. If you have any questions, you can follow me on X @DFSKoby and fire away, or sign up for a premium RotoBaller NFL package and chat with me and other NFL DFS analysts whenever you'd like!

MVP/Captain Plays

Joe Burrow - QB, Cincinnati Bengals - $15.9K (DK), $15K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 4,229 passing yards, 39 passing touchdowns, eight interceptions, one rushing touchdown

Joe Burrow is the key to this game, as he is averaging just over 23 FP a game, and now gets a phenomenal matchup against a Broncos team that is allowing the second-most FP to opposing QBs over the last four weeks.

He is consistently one of the top performers each week and gets a great matchup in a critical game with their playoff hopes on the line. Look for Burrow to be clutch in getting them this win.

Tee Higgins - WR, Cincinnati Bengals - $14.7K (DK), $12.5K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 92 targets, 58 receptions, 727 receiving yards, seven touchdowns

With Pat Surtain II likely playing on Ja'Marr Chase, I'm going to pivot to Higgins here. He has a rough matchup as well, but with how he has played recently, I don't think that will stop him. He has 18+ FP in five of his last six games. The Broncos are giving up the third-most fantasy points to opposing WRs across the last four weeks, so getting a little different in GPPs with Higgins could be a big way to a win on Saturday.

Other Captains/MVPs: Ja'Marr Chase, Chase Brown, Bo Nix

DFS Flex Plays

Bo Nix - QB, Denver Broncos - $9.6K (DK), $14K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 3,235 passing yards, 22 passing touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 352 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns

Bo Nix is going to need to be on his game if he wants to get the Broncos to the playoffs. He gets a tough matchup but has been one of the most consistent scoring guys on the team. The Bengals give up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing QBs this season and the most rushing yards.

Nix has shown he can run the ball when he gets in a pinch and I expect him to use his legs here. Like Burrow, the Broncos can lock in a playoff spot with a win, and Nix will need to be the driving force to get that done.

Javonte Williams - RB, Denver Broncos - $7K (DK), $10.5K (FD)

I'm keeping this one here with the Broncos. The RB room is a disaster, but Javonte Williams was used heavily in the passing game last week and could be used like that once again. The Bengals have given up the third-most fantasy points to opposing RBs across the last four weeks and the most receiving yards in that time. If they continue to use Williams in the passing game, he could be in for a solid night once again.

Other Flex Options: Courtland Sutton, Chase Brown, Audric Estime

DFS Value Plays

Marvin Mims Jr. - WR, Denver Broncos  - $4.8K (DK), $8K (FD)

I've tried to get the WR3 right for Denver multiple times this year. I've gone the Troy Franklin route and it just hasn't panned out, so here I am with Mims. He has seen more and more snaps each week and saw 47% of the snaps last week. He has seen 18 targets across the last four weeks and has been a solid long-ball threat. If he gets one big catch, it could break the slate single-handedly.

Andrei Iosivas - WR, Cincinnati Bengals - $4.4K (DK), $10K (FD)

Andrei Iosivas gets a great matchup against Ja'Quan McMillian in the slot where Iosivas mainly plays. He is giving up .24 FP per route run this season, which is nearly double what it is compared to going against Surtain and Kris Abrams-Draine.

Iosivas has seen three touchdowns in the last seven games and has been consistent in seeing 3-4 targets a game. This is a better play on DK as he is much cheaper and better value.

Other Value Plays: Devaughn Vele, Wil Lutz, Mike Gesicki

Enjoy your week, and good luck, everyone!
