Recommended DFS plays for NBA action on 4/8:

PG: Jordan Farmar ($9,065): Farmar is scheduled to make his return from the injured list on Tuesday.  He has missed 10 straight games, but prior to that he was playing some very good ball.  For the season, he is averaging 10.4 points, 4.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds, but those numbers were all elevated the seven games he played in March.  More good news on Farmar is that it generally does not take him much time to get back into the flow of the offense or many minutes to produce.  In his first game back from injury in early February, he put up 21 points and 8 assists in 33 minutes.  With injuries abounding in Los Angeles, Farmar could be a great value in this one.

Featured Promo: New Novig users get a $25 purchase match (50% discount up to $25) on your first Novig deposit, and 3 free months of RotoBaller's "Big-4" Premium Pass (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL) which includes exclusive tools for Betting, Props, DFS and more! CLAIM IT NOW

James Harden Rockets croppedSG: James Harden ($19,423): In case you haven’t watched any NBA basketball in the past month, James Harden is on an absolute tear.  In the last 30 days, he is averaging 28.2 points, 6.0 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 steals a game.  That also includes five games over 30 points in his last 11 outings for Houston.  Harden has clearly taken control of a Rockets team that is without both Dwight Howard up front and Patrick Beverly in the backcourt.  Tonight, he gets a matchup with the Laker, the second-worst defensive team in the NBA.  Don’t be surprised if this is a game in which both teams score well over 100 points.

SF: Kawhi Leonard ($12,952): Leonard is a prime example of a player who can contribute big fantasy numbers without putting up a ton of individual points on a nightly basis.  In the last month, he is averaging a solid 14.1 points, but he really makes a great value in other areas, with averages of 6.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.3 blocks per night.  Leonard is also a low-turnover player who is shooting well over 50% from the field and 80% from the free-throw line.   Those numbers all combine to make for an exceptional fantasy play in any given night.

PF: Paul Millsap ($16,587): With the Hawks fighting for the last playoff spot in the East, Millsap has turned his game up a notch.  He is working on a streak of four straight double-doubles, while also dishing out at least 3 assists in each of those games.  Millsap did briefly leave his last game with a thumb injury, but he was able to return and play 33 minutes s,o that should not be a concern.  He may be underowned tonight, as some may be scared off by Detroit's trio of Drummond, Smith and Monroe, but since Millsap is Houston's only legitimate rebounder, he should still a great shot at a double-double.

C: Enes Kanter ($9,990): Over the course of the year, most would argue that Kanter has been a fantasy disappointment; however he has steadied his game in the last few weeks.  Over his last 13 games, he has five double-doubles and seven games over 10 rebounds.  One thing he has not been able to do is block shots, with just 2 swats in those 13 contests.  Kanter has been consistently seeing around 30 minutes a night, which is more than enough time for the talented Turk to produce a good fantasy night.  If he can get 30 minutes on Tuesday, he should produce a good night against a weak Dallas front line that just allowed DeMarcus Cousins to go for 28 points and 10 rebounds on Sunday.

U: Paul Pierce ($10,968): It is well documented that Pierce is not the biggest fan of LeBron James and the Miami Heat.  In his career, he has torched Miami to the tune of 22.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in 50 career meetings.   Pierce has not been particularly great recently, but his ability to produce in a lot of different areas and his history with the Heat should provide the motivation for him to have a solid game tonight.
