Lock in this huge value bet in now while you can for the NASCAR South Point 400 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The NFL season is in full swing, and that means that many sportsbooks are putting a significant amount of resources toward the betting lines of that sport. For NASCAR bettors, this is typically a good scenario because we get some great betting lines late in the season thanks to the books putting little to no focus on motorsports.
And that's exactly the case this weekend with the upcoming South Point 400 race (ironically) at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Las Vegas is a 1.5-mile racetrack with medium-to-high tire wire that compares nicely to Kansas Speedway as well as the other 1.5-mile tracks on the schedule. The NASCAR Cup Series has run five races on similar tracks this season, including one already at Las Vegas Motor Speedway--meaning we have quite a bit of data to know who should be good this weekend.
The Bet To Make For Las Vegas
In addition to the first race ran at Las Vegas this season, the Cup Series has also held races at Kansas (twice), Charlotte, and Texas. That gives us five races to pull data from to handicap this weekend's South Point 400 before practice and qualifying on Saturday.
One driver has four top-five finishes over those five races, and in the race where he didn't finish inside the top five, he was running in second when he hit the wall. Additionally, this driver ranked 6th-fastest in Green Flag Speed here at Las Vegas earlier this season and just finished in 3rd at Texas three weeks ago. That driver is Bubba Wallace.
As of this publishing, Bubba Wallace is at +100 odds for a top-10 finish at Bet365, and this is a bet to make immediately. The No. 23 Toyota has been one of the strongest cars on this track type all season long, and that shouldn't change this weekend.
Be sure to keep an eye on rogue books such as BetFred and Tipico as well for when their top 10 odds drop, as they often times offer even longer lines for the drivers priced in this range.
