KBO DFS Lineup Picks for 5/27/20 - DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball

Jag Twigg's KBO DFS lineup picks for contests on FanDuel and DraftKings on 5/27//20. Daily fantasy baseball analysis for pitchers, hitters and DFS stacks.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another KBO DFS column. It's me, @DfsKbo again, here to breakdown tonight's slate. After being able to enjoy a couple of days of competent SPs, we may be looking at another night of crapshoot pitching. However, two options should be able to keep us above the ground.

New to KBO? Don't worry, we got you covered! DraftKings and FanDuel will use the same scoring system that they do for MLB, however, the roster builds are much different on FanDuel. You must roster two infielders, two outfielders, and two utility players along with a pitcher for a total of only seven players on FanDuel. DraftKings has kept its normal MLB structure with two starting pitchers and an entire eight-hitter lineup for a total of ten players. Building lineups on each site is going to be a good bit different on most nights.

Today, I'll be providing my KBO DFS lineup picks and analysis for this five-game slates on DraftKings and FanDuel that start at 5:30 AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. You can check our daily KBO Betting Picks as well, which have been on fire! Make sure you are also following me @DfsKbo on Twitter. Good luck RotoBallers!

KBO DFS Pitchers

Odrismer Despaigne

$8,300 DraftKings, $23 FanDuel

Despiagne stands out tonight as one of the safest options on the slate. Facing a KIA team whose greatest strength this year has been patience at the plate, Despaigne matches up well as he's only walked two batters on 24 innings this season. With 21 strikeouts so far this season, Despaigne holds the highest floor on the slate tonight.

KIA's home/road splits are still pretty large through 19 games this season, as they are hitting .055 points worse on the road and play at KTW tonight. His ownership in tournaments may be something to watch, however.

Se-woong Park

$6,300 DraftKings, $20 FanDuel

The cheapest option on both sites tonight, Park has the matchup to make things work with your expensive stacks. Nothing about Park this year has been impressive this year, but in a game where Lottte should win with a fully rested bullpen, Park could squeak us out 10-12 points tonight in a + matchup, which would play great on a slate like this with bad pitching.

Samsung has hit just .215 on the road this year, and will be missing their best hitter Ja-wook Koo for an extended period of time. With a career strikeout rate of 17.3%, Park has shown his ability to K batters which will come into play against Samsung who goes down via strike 3 at the fourth-highest clip.

Something to watch for: There have been strong winds blowing in from center field in the past two Lotte games. The scores of these games have ended 2-0 and 1-0.

Other DFS starters to consider:

  • Seung-won Moon (DraftKings - $8,500, FanDuel - $23)
  • Ki-young Im (DraftKings - $7,500, FanDuel - $24)

KBO DFS Top Hitter Stacks

LG Twins

LG has been scuffling offensively the past few games, but the middle of the order is starting to figure things out and gets a + matchup tonight against Hanwha. LG has hit .277 on the road and .282 against RHP, and faces a right-hander who has yet to put it together in his career. With a 5.64 ERA and a 1.66 WHIP, Jang has been vulnerable to giving it up which he showed last outing letting up 6 runs on 12 hits in 4 innings.

This should be a bounce-back spot for the Twins offense. 2B Keun-woo Jeong has been getting it going recently, as I had him in my lineup last night as an unowned one-off when he hit his first home run of the year.

Players to consider:

  • Hyun-soo Kim (OF)
  • Eun-sung Chae (OF)
  • Roberto Ramos (1B)
  • Keun-woo Jeong (2B)

NC Dinos

The Dinos still have a few injuries in their lineup, but have a good matchup tonight at home against Kiwoom's Hyun-hee Han. Han has good career numbers, but hasn't shown the ability this season to have clean innings, which NCD should capitalize on tonight. Hitting .308 at home and .295 against RHP, NC's top of the order is in a great spot to take advantage of this mediocre pitcher.

Players to consider:

  • Min-woo Park (2B)
  • Sung-bum Na (OF)
  • Aaron Altherr (OF)
  • Jin-sung Kang (C)
  • Suk-min Park (3B)

Other stacks to consider: Kiwoom, Lotte

Good luck in your DFS contests everyone. Be sure to stop back every day for some more KBO DFS analysis here at RotoBaller!
