Junior Caminero is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 21 (2024). Target Junior Caminero as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Stash in All Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: August
ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Rays third base prospect Junior Caminero has been enjoying a nice power surge at Triple-A since returning from the injured list and is on the verge of returning to the major leagues.
Since returning from a quadriceps injury on July 19, the 21-year-old has carried a strong .306/.333/.548 line with four home runs, three doubles, nine RBI, and a 2:11 BB:K ratio.

— Durham Bulls (@DurhamBulls) August 4, 2024
Through 49 games at Triple-A Durham this season, the top prospect has posted a .275/.333/.500 line with 12 home runs and 33 RBI.
Caminero has elite power potential and could be a league winner down the stretch. Seeing that the Rays traded third baseman Isaac Paredes and that Jose Caballero has posted a mere .184 AVG since July 1, Caminero should be back in the bigs any day now.
