Junior Caminero is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 20 (2024). Target Junior Caminero as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Rays' top prospect, Junior Caminero, has been red-hot since coming off the injured list with a quad strain. Caminero missed six weeks due to a Grade 2 quad strain he suffered back on May 28. Since his return on July 9, the 21-year-old infielder hasn't missed a beat offensively.
Over his last 10 games, MLB Pipeline's No. 3 overall prospect is batting .325 (13-for-40) with two home runs, two doubles, and five RBI. During this span, Caminero also has three multi-hit games over his last six contests. As a result, he is someone fantasy managers should be stashing ahead of Week 20 of the MLB season.

Caminero will find his way up to the active roster at some point this season, and it could come within the next few weeks. With the Rays right around the .500 mark, bringing up the young prospect could help boost that lineup. The 21-year-old has put together a strong campaign at the plate in 2024, hitting .266 with 14 HRs and 35 RBI across 52 minor league games. So, stash him now before he is called up.
