Jerry Jeudy fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 4 (2024). Should you start or sit Jerry Jeudy for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: Fantasy managers had low expectations for Jerry Jeudy after he was traded from the Denver Broncos to the Cleveland Browns last offseason, but he's been a pleasant surprise through the first three weeks of the 2024 campaign.
In his new role as the Browns' No. 2 receiver, Jeudy has 12 catches, 125 yards, and one touchdown. He ranks as the overall WR42 in PPR leagues. He also ranks 18th among wide receivers in red zone targets, 19th in air yards, and 28th in expected fantasy points per game.
The former first-round pick has been particularly dominant in man coverage, tallying 61 route wins (third among receivers), a 57.1 percent route win rate versus man coverage (fourth), and 2.03 fantasy points per target versus man coverage (10th).
This week, Jeudy gets a favorable matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, who have surrendered the sixth-most receiving touchdowns and 11th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.
Finally, Jeudy's volume benefits from an injury to tight end David Njoku (ankle), who has already been ruled out for Week 4.
All in all, these factors make Jeudy an appealing WR3/FLEX play for managers in leagues with at least 12 teams.
