Jayden Reed's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 17 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jayden Reed for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12-team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: High-end WR3 with WR2 upside
ANALYSIS: Jayden Reed will return in Week 17 against the Vikings after missing Week 16 due to toe and chest injuries. He gets a nice matchup indoors against a Minnesota team that has allowed the 3rd-most receptions and 9th-most receiving yards to opposing wideouts this season.
Not only that, but the Packers are likely to be without Christian Watson and Luke Musgrave again this week, with both guys listed as doubtful. Additionally, Dontayvion Wicks is also listed as questionable to play with chest and ankle injuries. That leaves Reed and Romeo Doubs as the two primary receiving options in Week 17 along with TE Tucker Kraft.
Since Week 10, Reed is averaging 8.5 opportunities per game and has scored a touchdown in five of six games. He's also seen at least eight targets in three of his last four games. Jordan Love should look for Reed early and often in this game, which figures to be competitive given the 1-point spread at most sportsbooks.
