George Pickens' fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 17 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit George Pickens for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit in 12-team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Boom-or-bust WR3
ANALYSIS: George Pickens exploded for 35.5 fantasy points in Week 16. However, he was probably on many people's benches after averaging just nine fantasy points per game in four games since Matt Canada was let go as offensive coordinator.
But Week 16 goes to show you what you could get from Pickens on any given Sunday. He's gone over 100 receiving yards in four games this season and is averaging a whopping 18.02 yards per catch. However, Pickens is averaging just 3.7 catches on 6.5 targets per game for the year.
Pickens has produced some big games this season despite his low volume. He's 17th among all wide receivers in air yards and yards after the catch. However, the Seahawks are a relatively tough matchup for receivers like Pickens, as they allow the 9th-fewest yards per catch this season. Consider him a boom-or-bust WR3 option in Week 17.
