George Pickens' fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 13 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit George Pickens for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: On just five targets in Week 12, Steelers wideout George Pickens caught just three of the five for 58 yards. Pickens has struggled this season to stay consistent but has been productive when the ball gets thrown to him as he sits with 40 receptions for 662 yards and three touchdowns this season.
Pickens' production has come in chunk plays this season as the wideout is averaging 16.5 yards per catch so far this year. However, the receiver has struggled to find himself in the end zone as it has now been four straight weeks without a score. Fantasy owners are wondering if Pickens should be a startable option in Week 13.
In Week 13, he'll face the Arizona Cardinals, who sit 22nd in the NFL in total yards given up this season to opposing offenses. It was reported last week as well that the Steelers wanted to push to give Pickens more targets as they view him as a player who can make big-time plays. Although there have been consistency issues, Pickens can be viewed as a WR3 and can look to find an end zone score with a beneficial matchup this week.
Pickens is ranked 28th in our Week 13 rankings.
