FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (9/2/20): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on September 2, 2020. Dennis Clausen provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

As the Rockets and Thunder square off in a pivotal Game 7 for the right to take on Los Angeles Lakers, the Heat will look to go up two games over the Bucks. As of this writing, the only notable name on the injury report is Eric Bledsoe, who missed Game 1 due to a hamstring ailment. If he isn't able to go, look for George Hill to get plenty of attention from fantasy managers.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/2/20. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

Feel free to give me a follow on Twitter @DennisMClausen. Good luck.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Jimmy Butler, SF @ MIL ($9,000)

Butler was a monster in Game 1. Throughout 36 minutes of action, the veteran dropped 40 points on an efficient 65 percent shooting from the field. He was also sound defensively and ended the night with 53.8 fantasy points. While it will cost you a bit more to acquire his services than on previous nights, fantasy managers more than likely won't be disappointed.

Khris Middleton, SG - vs. MIA ($7,500)

Although Middleton had some rough shooting performances during his first two postseason games against the Orlando Magic, he has picked things up since then. In his previous four contests, he is averaging 21 points and 8.5 rebounds to go along with an impressive 46 percent shooting from downtown. He will also get a noticeable boost if Eric Bledsoe isn't in the lineup, gaining 5.9 percent in usage differential and a 5.4 increase in +/-.

Goran Dragic, PG - @ MIL ($6,800)

Kendrick Nunn had some noteworthy performances during the regular season, but he hasn't done much during the postseason, which has left the door open for Dragic to see an increase in production. Throughout his five playoff appearances, the veteran has played well, averaging 23.6 points while shooting just over 41 percent from deep. He has also logged 34 minutes per game during that span and should continue to get plenty of action in Game 2.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Bam Adebayo, PF - @ MIL ($8,000)

Adebayo came alive in Game 1 and finished with a convincing 12-point, 17-rebound double-double while also throwing in six assists and two steals. Although he wasn't as productive on the scoring end against the Bucks during the regular season, he certainly got it done in other areas. Adebayo may likely have another strong showing in Game 2 and will probably be in many lineups on Wednesday night.

Danilo Gallinari, SF - @ HOU ($5,800)

Game 5 wasn't the best for Gallinari as he finished with one point on a miserable shooting effort. However, he bounced back in Game 6, dropping 25 points in 28 minutes on 9-for-17 shooting from the field and 4-for-9 shooting from long range. He also added five boards and two steals in that one and is still generously priced considering his potential output.

Darius Bazley, SF - @ HOU ($3,600)

While Houston focuses on the OKC shooters, it gave Bazley some wiggle room to make some noise on the fantasy end. He has logged at least 22 minutes in each of his previous two contests and is averaging 25.1 fantasy points during that span as well. For only $3,600, including him in your roster is well worth the risk.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Brook Lopez, C - vs. MIA ($5,700)

Lopez's price has slowly increased over the past few games. While he hasn't played heavy minutes consistently, he makes it count while he is on the floor. He dropped 24 points during the Game 1 loss to the Miami Heat and also swatted two shots for good measure. As in the case of Khris Middleton, he should also benefit from a production standpoint if Eric Bledsoe doesn't play in Game 2.
