ANALYSIS: Emanuel Wilson is currently listed as the Green Bay Packers RB2 behind Josh Jacobs. However, he works very well as the team’s ‘change of pace’ back and has had recent success in that role.
In Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, Wilson delivered the best game of his young career, where he saw 14 touches (12 rushes and two receptions) and accumulated 16.5 total fantasy points (PPR).

In Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings, Wilson was not very impactful (2.7 total fantasy points). However, his team was down by 28 early on, and the Packers were put in passing situations for the rest of the game.
In Week 5, the Packers are set to take on the Los Angeles Rams. This is a game that the Packers should be able to control and play on their terms. If that is the case, expect Wilson to see numbers that more closely resemble Week 3 instead of Week 4. Fantasy managers who are thin and need a flex option for Week 5 should consider picking up Wilson.
