Drydene 400: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

October is here, and one thing this month is known for is fall leaves flooding your driveway, Getting pressured into buying overpriced pumpkins from a guy named Joe just so you can cut it up and stick a candle in it, and an absolute acceptance for dressing up as a monster without getting looked at like an idiot. One cool monster that I've never seen anyone dress up as is Miles the Monster. Miles is the huge rock man that holds a NASCAR Cup car in front of Dover International Speedway, (FYI) and If you're at Dover this weekend, and reading this, I am officially pressuring you into doing just that for my amusement.

The cup series is hitting up Dover for the second time this season, and what makes it a higher stakes race this go-round is the fact that NASCAR is now in the second stage of the playoffs. Back in May, Martin Truex Jr. took the victory after starting from the rear. The other driver that came in right behind him was Alex Bowman, who also started from the rear. If one thing has changed with this new package in 2019, it's that Dover seems a little easier to pass on for these drivers.

Denny Hamlin took the pole on Saturday with a speed of 166.984, but has never been able to seal the deal when running the concrete. Hamlin is a guy that you shouldn't flirt with in your Fantasy lineups this weekend, with him only getting one Top 10 in his career after starting in first. There are some heavy hitters starting in the front on Sunday at this track, and one of my four picks should easily win this race.

DFS Lineup Picks - DraftKings, FanDuel

Clint Bowyer #14 (DraftKings $8,600 | FanDuel $9,700)

Bowyer has made it into the round of 12, and for some reason, isn't being talked about enough this week. Since 2017, Bowyer has put up three Top 10s at this track, and all came with positive placement.

Bowyer qualified 17th on Saturday, and had a fastest lap of 157.950 in the second practice on Friday. Bowyer knows how to race, and with the help of the draft, he should have no problem gaining spots come Sunday.

Kyle Busch #18 (DraftKings $12,000 | FanDuel $13,500)

Last week in Charlotte, Busch called it quits before the race was over, and that alone made me not even want to play him this week. However, I came to my senses, and couldn't pass up his 17th place qualifying run for fantasy purposes.

Busch didn't have the best practices on Friday, but one thing we all know for sure is that he can make his way to the front of the pack in a heartbeat. Spend that money this weekend on your preferred DFS site for Rowdy.

Jimmie Johnson #48 (DraftKings $7,800 | FanDuel $9,200)

Johnson is probably my favorite play this weekend. Some good news has come his way while at Dover with him getting a commitment for continued sponsorship between Ally Bank and Hendrick Motorsports.

You can see the excitement in his face, and a happy racer means purposeful driving. Johnson qualified 11th for Sunday, and we all know that historically this is one of his best tracks.

Martin Truex Jr. #19 (DraftKings $11,600 | FanDuel $14,500)

Monday Martin will have to settle for Sunday Martin if he's going to repeat a victory at this track. Truex Jr. is no doubt the hottest driver in the sport currently, and has positioned himself to lead some laps by qualifying third on Saturday.

Truex Jr. should have no issues holding some solid fantasy production, and truly has the best odds to pull off the win. Truex Jr. also had a best practice speed of 161.337 on Friday, which is a good sign for him to stay inside the Top 5.
