In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 5/17/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

New York Mets vs Patrick Corbin

This is the perfect storm of a matchup for the Mets, as they have been a significantly more powerful offense on the road and against left-handing pitchers. They will be playing in Arizona, which is one of the most hitter friendly stadiums in the MLB. They also get a great matchup against Corbin, who enters the game with a 4.17 ERA. The Mets are small underdogs, but the game is set at 9.5 runs, and each team will likely have plenty of opportunities to score. They're a stack best suited for tournaments, though.

Minnesota Twins vs German Marquez

The Twins have a slightly below average offense, but they come with tremendous upside. They get a great matchup against Marquez, who has a 4.88 ERA in limited starts this season. He has either looked like an elite pitcher or he has gotten rocked in his starts. The Twins enter this game as -132 favorites in a game set at 8.5 runs, which gives them a team total of 4.6 runs. They're another high upside stacking option.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Clayton Kershaw - at SF ($14,400)

Kershaw has somewhat "struggled" this season, as he has a 6-2 record with a 2.43 ERA and 9.2 K/9. The record and ERA are elite, but the strikeout rate is somewhat low. He gets a great matchup against the Giants, who have struggled quite a bit this season. Kershaw is a -177 favorite in a game set at only 6.5 runs, and he's an elite option in all leagues.

Jhoulys Chacin - vs MIL ($7,100)

Chacin has struggled quite a bit this season, but he has looked outstanding at home. When playing in San Diego, he has a 2-0 record with a 0.45 ERA and a 5.9 K/9 through three starts. His strikeout rate is a bit worrisome, but he can pitch deep into games and comes with a low price tag. He gets a tough matchup against the Brewers, but Petco Park will negate some of their power. Chacin is a -122 favorite in a game set at 8 runs, and he's a great salary relief option tonight.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Rene Rivera - at ARI ($2,500)

Rivera's price tag is extremely shocking tonight, and there is no real reason to avoid him. He's hitting over .400 over his last 10 games. He doesn't come with great power, but he will be hitting in a hitter friendly stadium, and he has been much better against left-handed pitching. He gets a good matchup against Patrick Corbin, and Rivera is an elite option in all leagues.

First Base (1B)

Wilmer Flores - at ARI ($3,300)

Flores is a specialist against left-handed pitching, and he'll get a good matchup against Patrick Corbin in a hitter friendly stadium tonight. He's hitting .353 against lefties this season, and he is a more powerful player against left-handed pitchers, as well. Flores is surprisingly cheap, and he's an outstanding option in all leagues.

Second Base (2B)

Jedd Gyorko - vs BOS ($4,100)

Gyorko has been enjoying an outstanding season, as he's hitting over .300 with a great combination of speed and power. He gets a decent matchup against Rick Porcello, and Gyorko has performed extremely well against right-handed pitching. He's a consistent option with elite upside, and he can be used in all leagues.

Third Base (3B)

Miguel Sano - vs COL ($4,900)

Sano is an absolute must start in a Minnesota stack. He has an OPS of 1.054 over his last 10 games, as he has combined great consistency with elite power. He isn't going to come cheap, but he's the leader of the Twins offense, and he gets a great matchup against German Marquez. Sano can be used in all leagues.

Shortstop (SS)

Jorge Polanco - vs COL ($3,500)

Polanco has been playing well recently, and he has displayed a decent combination of speed and power this season. He has also been a much better hitter at home, where he is hitting over .300 on the slate. He makes a great option in all leagues in a good matchup against German Marquez.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Tommy Pham - vs BOS ($3,700)

Pham has played in limited games this season, but he has looked elite in that time. He's hitting .371 with more than 50% of his hits going for extra-bases. He has displayed an elite combination of speed and power in his limited games, and he gets a decent matchup against Rick Porcello tonight. Pham is still somewhat cheap for his production, and he can be used in all leagues.

Jose Bautista - at ATL ($4,400)

Bautista has gotten off to an awful start this season, but he has looked good recently. He has an OBP of nearly .350 with more than half of his hits going for extra-bases over his last 10 games. He gets a good matchup against Mike Foltynewicz tonight, and Bautista makes an outstanding tournament option.
