DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (9/27/16): MLB DFS Advice

This has been my first post since the tragic death of Marlins pitcher, Jose Fernandez. It was a terrible loss, and he was certainly taken way too soon. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Fernandez family.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/27/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings. Well, let's get down to it!

Editor's Note: Be sure to check out FantasyAces DFS contests. New users that sign up on Fantasy Aces and make a $20 deposit will receive RotoBaller's full season NFL Premium Pass for free (including Premium DFS), normally a $59.99 value. Expert DFS research, sample lineups, matchup ratings and lots more!

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Texas RangersThe Rangers are always a good stacking option, and tonight is no difference. They get a great matchup against Jimmy Nelson, who has a 7.15 ERA over his last 10 games. The Rangers are a great offense at home, and they are -186 favorites in a game set at 10 runs. They can be stacked in all leagues.

St. Louis CardinalsThe Cardinals are a team with a boom or bust offense this season. They get a great matchup against Robert Stephenson, who has a 5.59 ERA through six starts this season. They are -215 favorites in a game set at 8.5 runs, and they are a great stacking option in tournaments.

Washington NationalsThe Nationals have one of the best offenses in the MLB, and they always possess great upside because of their elite combination of speed and power. They get a great matchup against Matt Koch, who will be making his first start of the season tonight. The Nationals will likely see quite a bit of the Diamondbacks bullpen, and they will make a great stack in all leagues.

DFS Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

Max ScherzerScherzer has been an elite pitcher the entire season, especially over his last 10 games. Over that span, he has a 7-1 record with a 2.75 ERA and a 10.5 K/9. He gets a great matchup against the Diamondbacks, who have struggled on the road this season, and Scherzer can safely be used in all leagues.

Adam WainwrightWainwright has struggled for most of the season, but he has looked great at home. He has a 6-4 record with a 2.92 ERA and a 7.0 K/9 through 14 home starts. He gets a good matchup against the Reds, and Wainwright is a -215 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs. He's a great tournament option tonight.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Yadier MolinaMolina has been extremely consistent recently, as he's hitting over .450 in his last 10 games, but he hasn't displayed much upside. He gets a good matchup against Stephenson. Molina is best suited for cash games, but he isn't a terrible option in tournament either.

First Base (1B)

Carlos SantanaSantana has been on fire recently. He's hitting over .400 with great power over his last 10 games. He gets a tough matchup against Verlander tonight, though. Santana may be best suited for GPPs because of the tough matchup, although he has been an extremely consistent player recently.

Second Base (2B)

Whit MerrifieldMerrifield has had a roller coaster of a season. He has been playing well recently, though, as he's hitting over .300 with good speed over his last 10 games. He hasn't been a consistent player, but he has displayed elite upside. He gets a good matchup against Berrios, but Merrifield is a GPP only option tonight.

Shortstop (SS)

Dansby SwansonSwanson is too cheap tonight. He's hitting nearly .300 in his last 10 games, and he has displayed good upside in his short career. He gets a great matchup against Eickhoff, and Swanson is cheap enough to be used in all leagues tonight.

Third Base (3B)

Evan LongoriaLongoria is an interesting option tonight. His price tag dropped because he gets an awful matchup against Sale, but he has hit left-handed pitching well throughout his career. He has also been on fire recently and he's a better hitter on the road. Still, Longoria is strictly a GPP option because of his terrible matchup.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Trea TurnerIf you're using a Nationals stack, Trea Turner is the player to start with. He's hitting over .300 with an elite combination of speed and power over his last 10 games. He has been one of the best fantasy players in the Majors since getting called up, and that won't change tonight. He can be used in all leagues.

Cameron MaybinMaybin has been one of the hottest hitters in the MLB over his last 10 games. Over that span, he is hitting over .400 with solid power. He gets a good matchup against Clevinger tonight. Maybin is safe enough to be used in all leagues.

Matt KempKemp has been playing surprisingly well since joining the Braves. Over his last 10 games, he's hitting over .300 with a bit of power. Kemp is a fairly consistent player with great upside. He gets a great matchup against Eickhoff, and Kemp can be used in all leagues.
