DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (8/26/16): MLB DFS Advice

A few teams seem to have their divisions all but locked up, while other teams are locked in tight battles. Sure, a team could fall apart, but it doesn't seem likely that a team playing as well as the Nationals is going to fall out of the playoffs. Other teams, such as the Red Sox and Blue Jays, are locked into tight battles for the division.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for DraftKings on 8/26/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on DraftKings. Well, let's get down to it!

Editor's Note: Purchase a full season NFL Premium Pass (including Draft Kit + DFS Premium), and also get MLB Premium + DFS for free through October. Premium DFS lineup picks, expert lineups, tools and more - seven days a week. You can see screenshots of our NFL Premium and MLB Premium and DFS tools. What are you waiting for?

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on DraftKings

Toronto Blue Jays - The Blue Jays get an elite matchup against Pat Dean tonight. They are a right-handed heavy offense, and Dean has been rocked by right-handed hitters this season. The Jays are -190 favorites in a game set at 9.5 runs, and they can be stacked in all leagues.

Detroit TigersThe Tigers are an offense that tends to dominate or disappear in games. They get a great matchup against Nolasco, who has a 5.22 ERA on the season. The Tigers are -210 favorites in a game set at 9 runs, and they are a great stacking option in GPPs.

Pittsburgh PiratesThe Pirates have struggled at times this season, but they get a great matchup against Matt Garza in a pitcher friendly stadium. Garza has struggled in two starts against the Pirates this season, and Pittsburgh is a -120 favorite in a game set at 9 runs. They can be used in all leagues.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on DraftKings

David PhelpsPhelps has looked outstanding this season, especially over his last four starts. He's coming off a great start against the Pirates, and Phelps should have a pitch count around 100 tonight. He gets a great matchup against the Padres, and he's a -175 favorite in a game set at 8 runs. He can be used in all leagues.

Bud NorrisNorris comes with as much risk as anyone tonight, as he gets a terrible matchup against the Chicago Cubs tonight. He has been a dominant player at home this season, though, as he has an ERA under 2.00 with a great strikeout rate in Los Angeles. He's a -115 favorite in a game set at 8 runs, and he's a high upside GPP option tonight.

DFS Infielders to Consider on DraftKings

Catcher (C)

Russell MartinMartin has been on fire recently, as he's hitting .400 with great power over his last 10 games. He gets a great matchup against Pat Dean tonight, and he has dominated left-handed pitching throughout his career. Martin can be used in all leagues tonight.

First Base (1B)

David OrtizOrtiz has looked elite this season, especially over his last 10 games. Over that span, he's hitting well over .400 with good power, and he'll be playing in Boston tonight, where he is a much better hitter. Ortiz can safely be used in all leagues.

Second Base (2B)

Trea TurnerThere's no reason to avoid Turner for his price tag. He should be one of the most expensive players on the board, and he isn't even that at second base. He gets a good matchup against Hoffman, and Turner is always an elite fantasy option. He can be used in all leagues.

Shortstop (SS)

Xander BogaertsBogaerts has been struggling a bit recently, but he'll return to Boston tonight, where he is a significantly better hitter. His price tag dropped way too low, and he's a steal tonight. He gets a good matchup against Kennedy, and Bogaerts is an elite option tonight.

Third Base (3B)

Wilmer FloresFlores has been crushing the ball lately, as he's hitting well over .300 in his last 10 games. He also has dominated left-handed pitching this season, and he gets a great matchup against Adam Morgan tonight. Flores can be used in all leagues.

DFS Outfielders to Consider on DraftKings

Mike TroutTrout should never be a discounted player because of a matchup. He gets a tough matchup against Verlander tonight, but Trout is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games, and he has elite upside against anyone. Trout can be used in all leagues.

Jose BautistaBautista recently returned from injury without a rehab stint, which could cause him to struggle a bit. He gets a great matchup against Dean tonight, though, and Bautista has dominated lefties throughout his career. He's best suited for GPPs tonight.

Justin UptonUpton was given a few days of rest after he had a terrible stretch of games. Since returning, he has looked outstanding, and he gets a great matchup against Nolasco tonight. Upton has really struggled this season, though, but he makes a great tournament option tonight.
