DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football (11/12/21)

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for 11/12/21. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win big.

Our Friday night is only two games again this week, but it lacks the power five power of last week. We do have a ranked team and a team that some think should be ranked. That counts for something, right?

We start off early in Tampa with the Bulls hosting Cincinnati, who desperately needs style points. We close out in the mountains with Colorado State heading to the Smurf Turf in a Mountain West showdown. This is going to be a good one nevertheless!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/12/21 locking at 6 pm eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks

Desmond Ridder, Cincinnati ($8,500)

USF has given up some big games through the air this season. While Ridder isn't really the guy that's going to air it out 50 times, especially in what is expected to be a blowout, his rushing ability is a plus and Cincinnati is still going to throw it around some. I don't see a true ceiling game from Ridder, but he should put up strong numbers here, especially if this stays closer than the experts predict.

Timmy McClain, South Florida ($5,700)

There is no sure thing at QB on this slate. The Cincinnati defense is tough, but I do like the fact that McClain is such a big part of the offense. He may be inefficient at times through the air, but he doesn't make a ton of mistakes. The price is low enough that we don't need a miracle. I think McClain is at worst the third-highest quarterback on the slate. I'll take that for this discount.

Also consider: Hank Bachmeier, Boise State ($6,800); Levi Williams, Wyoming ($6,200)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs

Titus Swen, Wyoming ($4,900)

I see no good reason to pay up at RB here unless Jerome Ford is going to play without limitations. Considering the Bearcats are huge favorites, I doubt that's the case. Cincinnati needs to win out and they know it. They still have Houston and SMU coming up. They need Ford for those games. They don't need him here. Swen lead the Cowboys in rushing last week and I'm not willing to take the chance on Xazavian Valladay at his price considering Swen is likely to see at least as many carries as Valladay in this one. I'll take this discount!

George Holani, Boise State ($4,500)

DraftKings is sure making it easy, aren't they? Holani seems to have his starting job back even with the entire backfield at full strength. Habibi-Likio is the home run hitter. Holani is the guy that's going to hit triple digits. Touchdowns will be poached by the other backs, but Holani is a sure producer at a really low price. He likely wont win you a GPP, but he wont lose you one either.

Ryan Montgomery, Cincinnati ($3,000)

Montgomery got all of the work after Ford left the Tulsa game and his price didn't budge. Even if Ford plays, I see Montgomery getting a decent share of carries. Against a team like South Florida, he's going to hit double digits at the very least. He's a hell of a bargain on a slate where we don't really need one, but I'll leave money on the table to use Montgomery. He's more of a sure thing than many priced higher than him.

Also consider: Jerome Ford, Cincinnati ($8,300); Jaren Mangham, South Florida ($6,500); Cyrus Habibi-Likio, Boise State ($4,800)

DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers

Alec Pierce, Cincinnati ($6,500)

Surprisingly enough, Saturday was only Pierce's second 100-yard game of the season. He could be in for another one here. USF can't cover the Bearcats receivers and Ridder and the team need a win. Not just a win, but they need to build some confidence again after close calls with Navy and Tulsa over the last three weeks. I think we'll see some big plays out of the Bearcats. If that's true, expect Pierce to be heavily involved.

Isaiah Neyor, Wyoming ($6,000)

Normally I would want nothing to do with a Wyoming receiver. However, when Neyor has caught four touchdowns in the last two games, we have to take notice. Especially considering they came from two different quarterbacks. The Cowboys don't throw much at all, but a large share of the important passes are going to Neyor. His ceiling is as high as the floor is low.

Xavier Weaver, South Florida ($5,400)

McClain gives the Bulls a dimension they didn't have at quarterback earlier this year. He can throw when he wants to. Weaver has 11 receptions for 206 yards and a touchdown since McClain returned as the starter. The Bulls are going to have to throw if they have any chance at keeping up. Weaver is by far the leading receiver on this team, so the potential is there.

Tre Tucker, Cincinnati ($3,400)

Tucker didn't catch a pass last week, but he did get one carry. Still, that's not enough to satiate us in DFS, even at this price. There are a lot of mouths to feed on the Cincinnati offense, but Tucker had been involved regularly up until last week. Cincinnati will be able to do whatever they want here. I'll throw a dart and hope they want to throw to Tucker.

Also consider: Khalil Shakir, Boise State ($7,400); Octavius Evans, Boise State ($4,600); Michael Young Jr., Cincinnati ($3,900); Omarion Dollison, South Florida ($3,600)
