DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 1/12/22 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy college basketball sleepers for 1/12/22. His CBB DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

We've got a big Wednesday night with 12 games on tap. We'll see more of this with college football now done until August. I'm going to miss football, but we'll still have some good times with college basketball between now and March. We tip off with Villanova and Xavier a half-hour earlier than everyone else.

7 pm Eastern has a lot of tips with LSU in Gainesville, Minnesota heading to Michigan State, Duke traveling a few miles down tobacco road to Winston-Salem to take on Wake, Clemson in South Bend, Temple heading south to Tulsa, and Central Florida welcoming in Memphis. The only 7:30 tip is St John's in Storrs to take on UConn. The night ends with Maryland at Northwestern, TCU heading to the Little Apple, NC State at Louisville, and Virginia hosting Virginia Tech. This is another loaded slate!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/12/22 starting at 6:30 pm eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Dereon Seabron, North Carolina State ($9,200)

Even in the tougher matchups against Clemson and Virginia Tech, Seabron posting 84.75 DraftKings points. He hasn't had a bad game since before Christmas and has upped the rebounding numbers in ACC play. It doesn't hurt that Seabron has scored 79 actual points over the last three games. This is a nice matchup against Louisville. We just have to hope that Seabron can keep up his good shooting of late. He was just 4-of-14 from the floor against the Cardinals back on December 4.

R.J. Cole, Connecticut ($7,500)

Unfortunately, DraftKings finally realized that Cole is the best player on the team and priced him accordingly. The matchup between Cole and Alexander is going to be a good one and I don't mind using both of them. Cole has at least 25 DraftKings points in every game since Thanksgiving Day. He gets there even if he has an off night from the floor because he gets to the line and racks up a lot of assists and rebounds. Cole's floor is safer than Alexander if you're playing for the solid floor only. Alexander might have higher upside, but it's close.

Nijel Pack, Kansas State ($6,600)

Believe it or not, K-State and TCU might be at the bottom of the Big 12(10) even though they have both fared well against other conferences. Kansas State lost to West Virginia, Oklahoma, and Texas by a combined 18 points to open Big 12(10) play, so they're hanging with everyone. Pack is a big reason why. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in every December game except for a blowout win over Wisconsin-Green Bay. I like a few K-State pieces against TCU tonight, but none more than Pack.

Dylan Addae-Wusu, St. John's ($5,700)

Sometimes you just have to follow the trends. Addae-Wusu has established a new high in scoring in back-to-back games against DePaul and Providence. UConn should provide a little more resistance, but with Alexander also knocking down shots, UConn will likely try to make Addae-Wusu beat them. He was able to beat DePaul and help put a scare into Providence. There's a lot of upside here for the price considering he's running hot anyway.

Ty Berry, Northwestern ($4,400)

We dug deep last night and got burned, though I did have a fifth place finish in spite of Prosper. We wont dig quite as deep tonight. Berry had the best game of his career so far on Sunday against the Buckeyes. I'm going to ride the hot hand here hoping Northwestern does as well. Berry will have to shoot well again to come close to Sunday's total and he'll have to stay out of foul trouble, which has been an issue of late. Still, he has nice potential for a value play.

Also consider: Alondes Williams, Wake Forest ($9,200); Posh Alexander, St. John's ($7,900); Payton Willis, Minnesota ($7,800); Justin Moore, Villanova ($6,800); Max Christie, Michigan State ($5,300); Tyree Appleby, Florida ($5,100); Emoni Bates, Memphis ($4,100)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Paolo Banchero, Duke ($9,800)

Banchero stumbled a bit earlier in the season, but he has been a force in ACC play so far. Banchero has 122.75 DraftKings points in the three conference games so far. Duke was careful with the freshman phenom earlier in the year, especially when Duke got out to a comfortable lead. They need Banchero in these close games. He has responded by flirting with a double-double every night thanks to his skills on the glass and efficient shooting. I expect another strong game out of Banchero tonight.

Jake LaRavia, Wake Forest ($8,700)

Duke has problems with size. They have for several years now. At 6'8", LaRavia isn't overly huge, but he is a combo wing that can play some on the inside if he needs to. The versatility at that size will be a problem for the Blue Devils again. LaRavia has four straight games over 30 DraftKings points. The only times that he has missed that mark since Veterans Day was a 19-point loss to Virginia Tech and a blowout win over South Carolina Upstate. LaRavia's ceiling isn't really high, but he might have the best floor on the slate.

Dane Goodwin, Notre Dame ($7,500)

Goodwin has been the best and most consistent player for the Irish this year. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in five straight games now. Clemson isn't quite the defense that they were last year. Goodwin faced North Carolina, Pitt, and Georgia Tech during his current streak, so I'm not really worried about it ending here. If Goodwin starts hitting threes again, his score could climb even higher.

Damian Dunn, Temple ($6,500)

Dunn erupted for 33 real points against East Carolina over the weekend. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in the last four games after a poor showing against UCF about a month ago. Dunn is the most dangerous scorer on this Temple team in another great matchup for the Owls. He has been hot from the floor lately, but he'll need to keep that up since he doesn't always contribute in other areas. If you want the better floor, switch to Jeremiah Williams.

Dallas Walton, Wake Forest ($4,500)

I do worry some about Duke's athleticism up front against the seven-foot Walton, but Walton has the kind of size that can give Duke fits. He's not a prolific scorer at this point in his career, but Walton is a force on the glass and on the defensive end. That keeps the floor high, which is very important for a value play. Walton isn't going to win you a tournament, but he can sure help keep a strong base line, especially if he drops 30 DraftKings points again like he did against the Orange on Saturday.

Also consider: Colin Castleton, Florida ($9,500); Tari Eason, LSU ($8,100); Tyrese Martin, Connecticut ($6,700); Andre Jackson, Connecticut ($6,000); Armaan Franklin, Virginia ($5,900); Malik Hall, Michigan State ($3,800)
