Dalton Kincaid's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 16 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Dalton Kincaid for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit in 10 and 12-team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: High-end TE2 with low-end TE1 upside
ANALYSIS: Kincaid gets a really good matchup in Week 16 vs. the Chargers (indoors in LA), but what will he do with it? In his last two games with Dawson Knox back, he's averaged just 2.5 receptions for 10.5 yards on five targets. He went catch-less for the first time in his NFL career in Week 15.
He had eight targets in Week 14 against Kansas City when Josh Allen was forced to throw it 42 times. But then last week he had just two targets on just 15 Allen pass attempts in a blowout over the Cowboys.
The problem in Week 16 is that the Bills are 12.5-point road favorites against the Chargers, so there's a chance Buffalo goes run-heavy once again. Kincaid played just 48% of the snaps in Week 15 against Dallas and could be game-scripted out of this one as well.
However, the Chargers are allowing the 6th-most receiving yards to opposing tight ends this season. If Easton Stick and company can keep it even relatively competitive, Kincaid could have a decent game. But the fact of the matter is, Kincaid has gone under 44 yards in seven of eight games played with Knox this season. Consider starting him in deeper leagues, but tread lightly in those shallower 10 and 12-team leagues in Week 16.
