ANALYSIS: Consider Dak Prescott a QB2 this week and only start him in 2QB or Superflex leagues.
He ranks fourth in passing yards per game and eighth in attempts, so the volume is there, but it has not translated into consistent fantasy production.
In the Dallas Cowboys' 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 6, Prescott completed only 17 of 33 passes for 178 yards, threw no touchdowns, and had two interceptions.

This week, he faces the San Francisco 49ers, a team giving up an average of 15.9 fantasy points per game to the quarterback position.
It has been hard to trust him as a starter. He has hit over 300 passing yards in two games this season but has fallen short of 200 in two others.
Fantasy managers should be cautious with his up-and-down performance and a challenging matchup on deck. His inconsistency has hurt fantasy managers, hoping he would be a reliable QB1.
