FanDuel DFS Guards

Austin Rivers - PG, @ SAC ($4,600)

Austin Rivers is handcuffed to the status of Chris Paul. CP3 continues to battle a hamstring injury that has kept the all-star point guard out of action for the past four games, and seven out of the team's last eight. Rivers is risky, considering he hasn't exactly displayed consistency in the wake of Paul's injury, but has proved capable of breaking out in an increased role. In Los Angeles' last contest, Rivers dropped 28 points, seven assists, four rebounds, one block, and one steal in 44 minutes of court time. The Kings aren't exactly the most defensively-sound squad, making Rivers a solid tournament play, specifically if CP3 sits again.

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SG, vs NYK ($10,700)

In daily fantasy, it's often wise to ignore what a player did in his last performance, and focus on matchup, intuition, whatever side the coin you flipped landed on, etc. But certain studs are just way too difficult to stay away from. Especially one who's had a knack for the triple-double this season, and now coming off a game-winning shot at The Garden, despite any controversy that's surrounding the attempt.

The Greek Freak has lived up to his nickname all season, and continues to break out as one of the league's best young talents. His career is certainly on the rise, while the New York Knicks have been headed in the opposite direction. Look for Antetokounmpo, my patriot, to proceed as he has been throughout November and December.

Also Consider: Goran Dragic - PG, @ LAL ($7,100)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Carmelo Anthony - SF, @ MIL ($7,900)

Carmelo Anthony is coming off his best performance in a while, and did all he could to stop New York's seemingly perpetual losing streak. Despite failing to pick up the win, Anthony posted 30 points, 11 rebounds, and was three assists shy of a triple-double. He also added two steals. With Kristaps Porzingis in danger of missing his fourth straight contest, look for Melo to again carry the load in back-to-back meetings between these two Eastern Conference teams.

Ersan Ilyasova - PF, @ BOS ($5,800)

The Philadelphia 76ers have desperately needed someone like Ersan Ilyasova, a stretch four forward that can score and rebound, play defense, and elevate young, maturing talent around him. Ilyasova is a double-double threat, and has posted two over his last three games, while he has scored in double-digits in each of his last 14 games. With Joel Embiid questionable to play Friday night because of an illness, look for Ilyasova to provide a bulk of the production for the Sixers.

Also Consider:  Trevor Booker - PF, vs CLE ($5,500)

FanDuel DFS Centers

Greg Monroe - C, vs NYK ($5,500)

Like Antetokounmpo and Anthony, I'm going to stick with the hot hand here, specifically against a team that has struggled to defend the center position all season. In the first leg of the back-to-back between New York and Milwaukee, Monroe dropped 18 points, grabbed nine boards, dished out four, adding a block and three steals over 31 minutes of floor time. Monroe, who has never really been Jason Kidd's favorite option off the bench, has seen a steady uptick in his playing time of late, and should see another healthy amount of minutes on Friday night.

Also Consider: Karl-Anthony Towns - C, @ WAS ($9,400)
