In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/13/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel. Let's get rolling.

FanDuel DFS Guards

T.J. McConnell - PG, vs CHA ($5,400)

After sinking the game winner against the New York Knicks Wednesday night, T.J. McConnell heads into Friday's contest riding a bit of swag; momentum that should translate into solid fantasy points in Philly's matchup with Charlotte. McConnell is very affordable and has been producing admirably in five straight games. McConnell has seen an increase in playing time and has averaged around 35 minutes over that span; a noticeable boost from before the new year. Expect McConnell's court time to remain steady as his role with the Sixers has certainly changed.

DeMar DeRozan - SG, vs BK ($9,400)

DeMar DeRozan has been a beast all season and is coming off a 41 point, 13 rebound double-double in his most recent game against the Boston Celtics. It should get even easier against a Brooklyn Nets squad that allows 114.1 points per game, the most in the NBA. The Nets have been a tough out this season so the game should remain close enough for DeRozan to see full playing time. DeRozan should be drafted, no matter how high his price rises.

Also Consider: Ricky Rubio - PG, vs OKC ($6,200)

FanDuel DFS Forwards

LeBron James - SF, @ SAC ($9,900) 

The Cleveland Cavaliers have lost two straight, something almost unheard of in the land of reigning champions. Watch out, Sacramento. LeBron James and company are angry and ready to get back to their winning ways. The Kings are not as bad defensively as they once were last year, but still give up a good amount of points. LeBron hasn't had an explosive performance in quite some time now, but has consistently scored over 20 points a night and consistently flirts with triple-doubles every time he laces up. It will definitely be fun to watch these two teams battle.

James Johnson - PF, @ MIL ($5,800) 

James Johnson has had a nice stretch of daily fantasy production as well. Johnson continues to be a double-digit scoring threat and has found a knack for pulling the trigger behind the arc at a frequent rate; 34 attempts over his last six games. He's an inexpensive tournament option that has really emerged as a secondary scorer for the Miami Heat, behind Hassan Whiteside and Goran Dragic. The two teams have been headed in opposite directions of late, so expect the Heat to be playing from behind, resulting in a lot more shot attempts from Johnson.

Also Consider: Gordon Hayward - SF, vs DET ($7,400) 

FanDuel DFS Centers

Dwight Howard - C, vs ATL ($7,600)

Howard has posted four straight double-doubles, and nine out of his last 10, three including more than 20 rebounds. Howard has fit into his new team nicely so far, while the Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics are only separated by a game and a half in the standings. This could very well be a potential playoff series preview, and should be a competitive matchup between two Eastern Conference teams hoping to dethrone the Cleveland Cavaliers. Expect a solid battle consisting of Howard and Al Horford.
