Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (6/3/20) - DraftKings, Daily Fantasy

Jorge Pucks' DraftKings. FanDuel DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 6/3/20. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering eSports DFS at RotoBaller! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CS:GO contests on DraftKings which can also be related to FanDuel contests as well.

We have a four-game main slate on DraftKings that involves teams from the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 series. This is going to be a nice change of pace from the 3-game slates we were getting at Dreamhack and we should see some late and turbo slates for the late games as well.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020 at 1:45 PM. Be sure to also check out our awesome CS:GO Premium DFS Tools including our Lineup Optimizer, Research Station, Projections and DFS Cheat Sheets! Feel free to follow me on Twitter @jorgepucks as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions. Good luck RotoBallers!

BLAST Premier Spring 2020- (Best of 1)

  • Vitality (-145) vs. Astralis (+110)
  • C9 (EVEN) vs. Evil Geniuses (-130)
  • Triumph (+245) vs. 100 Thieves (-360)
  • Gen. G vs. MiBR

Best of One Tournament Strategy

The format for this contest is the best of one which really makes this tricky. We have been used to a Best of three, which really allows for big-time scores and gives players an opportunity to really come back strong if they end up having a bad round. There are several ways to attack this tournament moving forward since this will be the main tournament for the coming weeks.

The first thought is to load up on stacks of the top teams that could do well just like you would with a best of three series. With there not being sweep bonuses, the only additional bonuses you are relying on are lopsided games where you can rack up some additional points for rounds not being played but that will only result in a few fantasy points. The other thought process is that you can nail the top two or three players that do well in these lopsided games which would result in having a very nice kill/death differential resulting in a strong score.

The downside to this thinking is that you have to be spot on with your plays since one guy or stack can sink a lineup. I was heavy on Astralis and they got beat down by NiP which resulted in low scores from someone like device which means most likely, the rest of that stack did poorly. 3/3 stacks are very boom or bust and if you are on the right side of them, you could be taking everything down. Conversely, you can have lineups bust really quickly if you load up on a team and they just not show up for that one game.

The winning lineups have often been a 2-2-1-1 stack. This seems to be a better and more efficient way of going about constructing your lineup for the time being for these best of one matches. You are including several small two-man stacks while diversifying and grabbing the best players from other teams. Diversifying your lineup and grabbing the best overall players from teams projected to win seems to be the safer and better route so make sure to give this a try moving forward.

CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations

Zyw0o is just $9,200 and while he has not done well against Astralis in the past, this is a new Astralis squad that lacks firepower. Zyw0o produced 24 DK points against ENCE on Monday and Vitality will need him to have a big performance to get the win on Wednesday.

Zyw0o carries a 1.24 K/D ratio over the last month and has a .78 kill per round rate so the upside is always there when rostering him.

Jks had a rough outing against Evil Geniuses on Monday but this looks to be a great bounce-back spot for him. He is just $8,400 and draws a favorable matchup against Triumph. He had a +11 K/D differential against them in late April and I can see him having a monster game against them on the slate tomorrow.

Over the last month, jks has registered a 1.23 K/D ratio which leads the 100 Thieves squad. He is viable in both cash games and tournaments and is one of my overall favorite plays.

Other captain plays: jkaem, fer, oSee, FalleN

CS:GO DFS Value Plays

Liazz is my favorite value play on the main slate. He is just $6,200 and is coming off of a 20 kill performance against Evil Geniuses in the opening round of the best of one tournament.

The last time they played Triumph, Liazz had a +8 K/D differential and posted a 1.25 game rating. For his price and recent play, it is hard to not consider Liazz in your lineups.

Misutaaa- is coming off of a monster performance against ENCE as he registered 41 DK points in one game. He registered 30 kills and 5 assists with only having 17 deaths which is a very good stat line.

He looks to be in good form as he has gone plus in three straight games against some quality opponents. Astralis does not look the same with the new squad so this could be an opportunity for Misutaaa- to be a viable tournament value play.

Other value plays: motm, sjuush

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks

100 Thieves look to be the best stack on this slate in my opinion. They have won three of their last five games and are the higher-rated team. 100 Thieves faced Triumph a little over a month ago and swept them 2-0 in convincing fashion (won 16-10 both rounds). In that match, they had four of their players post a positive K/D ratio which is a good sign for 100 T entering this match tomorrow.

Jks and jkaem are the two guys to look at when constructing your 100 Thieves stack. Over the last month, they both carry a K/D ratio above 1.15 and lead the team with their K/D differential. Liazz and AZR come in as the value plays if needing some salary savers from this squad.

MiBR has fared very well against Gen. G in the past as they have won six out of seven career maps against them with the most recent matchup resulting in a 2-0 sweep in early May. As a team, MiBR has had a team K/D ratio of 1.05 over the last three months and has gone 34-26 in that span.

Over that stretch, the main targets for MiBR have been FalleN, fer, and kNgV-. FalleN has had a 1.23 K/D ratio over that span while fer and kNgV- have had a 1.14 K/D ratio. Trk recently joined the squad and has generated a 1.01 K/D ratio so he looks to be a solid value play from MiBR due to his price point.

Other stacks/teams: Vitality, C9
