Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks (5/30/20) - DraftKings, Daily Fantasy

Jorge Pucks' DraftKings. FanDuel DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 5/30/20. He analyzes CS:GO slates and top targets for eSports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. I have to admit, I am having a ton of fun playing and covering eSports DFS at RotoBaller! As always, I will do my best to give you the stats and info you need to build the best lineups possible for your GPP and cash game CS:GO contests on DraftKings which can also be related to FanDuel contests as well.

Once again we have a three-game main slate on DraftKings (and two-game slate on FanDuel) that involves teams from the DreamHack Masters' Spring 2020 series. This is an exciting tournament as it features some of the best teams in the world which means we should see highly competitive matchups.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS lineup picks, analysis and advice for eSports DFS contests on DraftKings for Saturday, May 30th, 2020 at 8:00 AM. Be sure to also check out our awesome CS:GO Premium DFS Tools including our Lineup Optimizer, Research Station, Projections and DFS Cheat Sheets! Feel free to follow me on Twitter @jorgepucks as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions. Good luck RotoBallers!

DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 (Best of 3)

  • NiP (+110) vs. ENCE (-155)
  • GODSENT (+150) vs. Spirit (-205)
  • Gen. G (-150) vs. Cloud 9 (+110)

CS:GO DFS Captain Considerations

Mir has been on fire over the last month of games played. He is carrying a 1.39 K/D ratio and has a .85 kill per round rate and a .62 death per round rate. During the DreamHack Masters Europe event, he leads the tournament with a 1.39 event rating which is above CS:GO studs like Zyw0o and device. He has a 1.45 k/D ratio for the tournament and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. He is only $7,800 which is quite the steal for the form that he has shown recently so mir is one of my overall favorite plays on the slate.

Allu looks to be one of the better tournament options for the captain on this slate due to his upside. He is $8,200 which seems relatively cheap for a guy who has had a 1.4 K/D ratio over the last 22 maps played. Over that stretch, he has registered a .81 kill per round rate and a .58 death per round rate. Allu has faced NiP in six maps so far this year and has generated a 1.10 K/D ratio with a +11 K/D differential. When factoring in his price and matchup, he has the potential to be a top-three performer on the slate.

Other captain plays: oSee, chopper

CS:GO DFS Value Plays

Autimatic is on the higher end of the value spectrum at $7,200 but is a much better play to be priced that low. Yes, he is coming off one of his lowest performances in recent memory but he normally averages 54.3 DK points per game and recently put up 87.5 points against C9 in their most recent meeting. Over the last three months, Autimatic has faced C9 on eight maps, and over that span, he has accrued a 1.11 K/D ratio which is very solid. When factoring his price point and overall lay of the slate, he looks to be a great play in both cash game and tournament lineups.

SDY is just $6,400 which is a very good price for someone who is averaging 48.7 DK points per game. Over his last nine games, he has produced 50+ DK points in seven of those contests. Over the last month, SDY has generated a 1.16 K/D ratio and carries a .69 kill per round rate while having a .59 death per round rate which is very solid. In his eight maps played against GODSENT during the 2020 year, he has had a 1.08 K/D ratio. SDY is one of my favorite plays for both cash games and tournaments and offers consistency as a value play.

Other value plays: BnTeT, iDISBALANCE, magixx, Aerial, s0m

Top CS:GO DFS Stacks

Spirit looks to be in much better form when compared to GODSENT. They have won three out of their last five games and have won 47% of matches by a 2-0 record over the last three months. GODSENT looks to be struggling as they have one won one game in their last five matches and have only won 13% of matches by a record of 2-0 over the same timespan. So far, Spirit leads the DreamHack masters Europe in team rating with a 1.17 rating and they face a GODSENT squad who is 0-2 so far during this event and have a -22 round differential.. This could be a quick but dominating match for Spirit and they stick out as my top stack on the slate. Mir is where you start your Spirit stack as he is the stud player on this squad. He has been playing lights out and has one of the higher upsides on the slate. iDISBALANCE and SDY serve as great stacking value options on this slate as they have both carried above 1.15 K/D ratios over the last month and are in great form.

ENCE has really been playing well so far during the DreamHack Masters' event and draws a matchup against a NiP squad who has been struggling as of late. ENCE are winners of three of their last five games while NiP has only won two of their last five games. ENCE has had a team K/D ratio of 1.08 over their last 22 maps played and over that stretch they have produced a 15-7 record which is very strong. Any ENCE stack begins with allu who has a 1.40 K/D ratio over the last month. Jamppi has been a very nice addition as he has carried a 1.14 K/D ratio in the nine maps he has played since joining ENCE. Sergej rounds out this group as he has had a 1.08 K/D ratio over the last month while making a strong stack pairing with either allu or Jamppi.

Other stacks/teams: Gen. G
