Coke Zero Sugar 400 DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

There's nothing more American than Fourth of July weekend paired with a night race in Daytona. Unfortunately, the summer race will move to August in 2020 so all of the fans will get one last super patriotic Daytona event this year. This track is the pillar of the sport and although it's not the Daytona 500, it's still every bit as fun to watch.

Now that NASCAR has hit the midway point in the season, there is a clearer picture of what to expect at this track on Saturday night. The new package has its pros and cons but one thing you can always bet on is a big wreck before the checkered flag is waved (ITS DAYTONA).

Some action between Brad Keselowski and William Byron has already started brewing at the track and I'm pretty hyped to see if Keselowski slams some "Brad Ks" and goes ham if Byron tries anything dirty on the track (or vice versa) Saturday night. There are some guys who I think have a true shot to score big during this race, and you can slide them all into the same lineup this week.

DFS Lineup Picks - DraftKings, FanDuel

Kyle Busch #18 (DraftKings $11,000 | FanDuel $13,500)

The man that spells out curse words at press conferences is one that should find a way to hop to the front quickly and hold a lead tighter than a Speedo at the beach.  Busch won this race back in 2008 but since then has only had a handful of good finishes when the lights are shining over Daytona International Speedway.

One thing to note is that Busch finished the Daytona 500 this year second after starting 31st. That's everything you could ask for from a driver in your lineup. This man is one of the best in the sport and no one will knock you for playing him this weekend.

Jimmie Johnson #48 (DraftKings $7,900 | FanDuel $8,300 )

The 48 found its way back in the Top 10 last week at Chicagoland (must be the network switch). Johnson and Byron both looked great and I absolutely believe that Hendrick will impress again this Saturday night with Johnson being the man with the plan.

In Practice 1, Johnson finished in P4 and followed up with a P13 finish in Practice 2. Be on the lookout for Johnson to be a great value play and shake things up starting 14th.

Joey Logano #22 (DraftKings $10,200 | FanDuel $14,000)

The last time Joey Logano had the pole I faded him in all my lineups and I'm not making that mistake again at a high-speed track like Daytona. Logano's numbers in the summer haven't been that spectacular recently, but with this new package that is likely to change.

I'm not prepared to commit to a Logano victory just yet, but there's no doubt he will be a hot play this Saturday. I'm confident in giving him a start knowing if he can avoid "The Big One", he could bring home a win.

Ryan Newman #6 (DraftKings $7,700 | FanDuel $7,500)

If you listen to the Garage Guys Fantasy Sports Podcast or follow me on Twitter, you are well aware of "Hot Dog SZN". Ryan Newman is "Hot Dog SZN" in a nutshell and even hotter at Daytona (even though he's not running that beautiful Oscar Meyer paint scheme). Since July of 2017, Newman has finished three of four races at this track inside the Top 10.

In Thursday's first practice, Newman finished in sixth just like the number on his car. The second practice wasn't too kind to him but we know he has what it takes to get up to the Top 10 by the tail end of a race. This play is another value to add to Jimmie Johnson this weekend so get these four guys in one lineup and see what happens.
