BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/FLEX
ANALYSIS: The second-year Packers wide receiver has undoubtedly been one of fantasy football's biggest disappointments this season. Following an often-electrifying rookie campaign, Watson has failed to get rolling in 2023 while battling injuries and a seeming lack of chemistry with new Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love.
#Packers Christian Watson's role hasn't changed with 16.4 air yards per target & 5.5 yards after the catch per reception.
Partly related to Jordan Love throwing the 4th-highest rate of off-target passes at 14.3% among quarterbacks with 100 passes.

Watson is getting volume, he's just doing next to nothing with the opportunities. He consistently leads the Packers in target share when he's suited up, yet his 42% catch rate ranks dead last in the NFL. Watson has found the end zone just once this year and has gone over 50 receiving yards in only one of six games.
Yes...it's been ugly for Watson and his fantasy managers to this point. However, a Week 11 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers does present a glimmer of hope. The Bolts have been one of the league's most generous secondaries for wide receivers, as L.A. has allowed an eye-popping 9.54 yards per target to the position.
While the threat of a stinker is always present with Watson this season, he's a big-play receiver with steady volume in a dream matchup. The Packers wideout is an upside-based WR3/FLEX play against the Chargers in this potential breakout spot.
