BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 14% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: As most fantasy managers already know, the TE position has been a wasteland in 2022. With big names like Kyle Pitts, Zach Ertz, Darren Waller, and Dallas Goedert on IR, if you don't have Travis Kelce or Mark Andrews on your roster, you are more than likely constantly monitoring the position for viable options.
That dearth of talent at the position amplifies any TE production. For that reason, Tennessee's Chigoziem Okonkwo is suddenly on fantasy radars.
The rookie fourth-rounder out of Maryland has slowly but surely worked his way into playing time during his first professional campaign and his opportunities continue to rise. Okonkwo has now been targeted 16 times across Tennessee's last three games.
An athletic freak, the 23-year-old has capitalized on his growing opportunities. Okonkwo snagged a career-high six catches against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14, tallying 45 receiving yards and a TD. He also chipped in a two-point conversion catch against the Jags.
Okonkwo has now logged 268 receiving yards on 16 receptions since Week 9. There are many fantasy GMs in need of help at the always-tough TE position and the talented rookie deserves serious consideration ahead of a Week 15 date with the Los Angeles Chargers.
