San Francisco 49ers kicker Jake Moody beat out Greg Joseph in the kicker competition and is set to be the starter. Moody has gone 21-for-24 on kicks throughout training camp, compared to Joseph, who was slightly better at 22-for-24. The 2023 third-round pick has been disappointing so far in his career, making 76.3% of his career field goals. He struggled more in 2024, where he made only 70.6% of his kicks, which ranked fifth lowest among all kickers. He'll open the season with a favorable setup as the 49ers offense projects to be one of the best in football.--Kyle McCarthy
