After 10 practices, New Orleans Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler is "comfortably in the lead" for the starting job, according to Ross Jackson of LouisianaSports.net. Rattler, who's competing with second-round rookie Tyler Shough and Jake Haener, leads the group in first-team reps and has picked up the fewest third-team reps in camp. If Rattler plays well in Sunday's preseason opener against the Los Angeles Chargers, it could go a long way in locking up the job going into Week 1. A fifth-round pick from South Carolina in 2024, Rattler made six starts in seven games as a rookie and completed 57% of passes for 1,317 yards, four touchdowns, and five interceptions.--Connor Byrne
