Busch Clash at Daytona: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

Be sure to listen back to the RotoBaller Radio Daytona 500 DFS Preview Special on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio - just search for RotoBaller on demand now

Man, it feels good to get back to racing! After a long two months off my fingers almost forgot how to type, but the thought of fast cars, wild parties, and Daytona Beach has the power to revive a man. After all, it's my job to make sure you guys are ready to roll when the green flag waves on race day, so my "A Game" has officially been re-activated.

NASCAR Speedweeks kicks off on Sunday at 3 PM EST with the Busch Clash at Daytona. The Clash goes back to its roots this season after 7 years without the word Busch involved in the name, and I couldn't be more hyped. When you think about NASCAR you can't help but think about "Buschhhhhh" (if you don't you should probably reevaluate why you're here).

This Busch Clash is a 75-lap shootout that not just any driver can compete in. You must be a previous Busch Clash winner who competes in the cup series full time, a past Daytona 500 pole winner and or race winner who competes full time, or a driver who was in the NASCAR Cup Series playoff the previous year. The starting position order will be determined on Saturday, February 8th at 6:30 PM, but that doesn't mean I'm going to make you wait for some of the favorite plays.

DFS Lineup Picks - DraftKings, FanDuel

Austin Dillon #3 (DraftKings $5,500 | FanDuel $8,000)

Most of you that listen to the Garage Guys Fantasy Sports Podcast know I'm a big fan of underdogs, and that's what Dillon has become over the past couple of years. People may be quick to forget that Dillon has actually won the Daytona 500 two seasons ago.

Dillon seems to have had an exciting offseason, and that's most likely due to him learning he will soon be a father, and getting a new crew chief in Justin Alexander. Overall, I think we see a fun, and competitive performance from the RCR frontman on Sunday.

William Byron #24 (DraftKings $6,600 | FanDuel $8,500)

Byron (AKA Billy B) is back on the scene, and entering his first Busch Clash race. After securing a spot in the playoffs last season, I expect to see a little more confidence in Byron's step on race days in 2020.

Byron's car is one of the fastest rides on Hendrick's team, and with Chad Knaus as his crew chief, the kid has a lot more in store as he grows as a driver. Byron snagged the pole last year at the Daytona 500, and with that speed, he could easily find his way to the front on Sunday.

Joey Logano #22 (DraftKings $9,800 | FanDuel $12,000)

I dubbed Logano "The Rocket Man" last October at Talladega, and ever since then he may or may not keep one Air Pod in his ear while in his car blaring Elton John. Regardless of whether he's jamming tunes or not, it's safe to say he's the favorite on Sunday.

Logano won The Clash back in 2017, and definitely has the skill to pull off another victory. Look for Logano to be a lineup lock just about everywhere you turn on Sunday.

Denny Hamlin #11 (DraftKings $9,600 | FanDuel $11,500)

Hamlin is coming off of a hot season with a total of six cup series wins in 2019. Unfortunately, he couldn't come through in the clutch to win the championship, but you can bet he will come through with the passion of 1000 suns all week long in Daytona.

Hamlin was last season's Daytona 500 winner, and has won the clash a total of three times. Hamlin is right up there for me with Logano as a must-play for Sunday's Busch Clash.
