ANALYSIS: Ben Zobrist has had a really good year as an experienced veteran. He has gotten more playing time than usual as he has filled in well for Kris Bryant while he recovered from his injury. Ben Zobrist still figures to see plenty of playing time in both the infield and outfield. He's slashing .287/.383/.418. He has a .352 wOBA. Zobrist has been successful in most categories besides home runs. He has 41 runs and 35 RBI. This keeps him fantasy relevant in both rotisserie and points leagues.
Ben Zobrist has an incredible 1.09 BB/K meaning he walks more than he strikes out. Zobrist has hit in every spot of the order this year. He has produced in all those spots as well which will help him maintain high run and RBI totals. Expect Zobrist to continue giving players rest while he still plays five to six times a week. He's definitely a rest of season type addition. Zobrist could be a huge addition at only 26% ownership. Look for him to be hot after the all star break.
