Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

5043 articles

You won't find a bigger Cubs fan than myself. Aside from my love of fantasy sports, which includes MLB, NFL and NBA, I own my own animal care business. I graduated from Columbia College in Chicago and currently reside in Chicago, IL. My love of fantasy sports started for me in the early 2000's and I have steadily been active with the same group of friends year in and year out for every league in baseball, basketball and football. I am hoping to help all RotoBaller members with any questions they may have. I consider myself an expert with minor league prospects, as it is a love of mine. I hope to give the best advice I can to the RotoBaller world!

Jared Cook - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Jared Cook will draw one of the toughest matchups at his position in Week 17 versus the Denver Broncos. The Broncos have done a great job limiting tight ends to just four receptions for 40 yards per game and have only allowed one touchdown on the year to the position. […]

Austin Ekeler - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list after missing Week 16, but will return to action against the Denver Broncos in Week 17. Backup running back Justin Jackson feasted in Ekeler's absence, but Ekeler should resume his full-time role against a tough Broncos defense. For the season, the Broncos […]

Tyreek Hill - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is coming off of a two-catch, 19-yard performance in Week 16 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers and will look to get back on track versus the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. Much of Hill's disappointment in Week 16 could be attributed to the fact that he was coming off […]

Darrel Williams - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) missed another practice on Thursday with a collarbone injury and that should open the door for Darrel Williams to draw the start in Week 17 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. Williams has done a respectable job when he has been the main man out of the backfield this […]

Mike Williams - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday and will return to action in Week 17 versus the Denver Broncos. The big receiver only missed one game, but will return against a tough Broncos secondary. The Broncos have been one of the best defenses versus the wide receiver […]

Keenan Allen - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen is coming off of one of his poorest performances of the year with four receptions for 35 yards in a Week 16 loss versus the Houston Texans and will look to get back on track against a tough Denver Broncos secondary in Week 17. The veteran has been […]

Justin Herbert - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

After a rough Week 16 performance, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will look to get back on track in Week 17 against a tough Denver Broncos defense. The Oregon Duck product is coming off of arguably his worst performance of the season and things won't get easier against a Broncos defense that is allowing […]

Patrick Mahomes - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been catching fire for managers at the right time and he will look to continue that success against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17. The Bengals have been in the middle of the pact of against the quarterback position this year allowing 270 yards per game to the […]

Travis Kelce - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday and is expected to be back for a Week 17 battle against the Cincinnati Bengals. Kelce couldn't have asked for a better matchup to return for, with the Bengals getting scorched by the tight end position this season for just […]

Patrick Mahomes Tosses Three Touchdowns In Week 16

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes came through for fantasy managers with a big game in a Week 16 victory versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mahomes finished the game 23-for-30 with 258 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions on the afternoon. With the score out of hand in the fourth quarter, Mahomes would exit early for […]

Tyreek Hill Does Little In Week 16

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill was able to suit up in Week 16 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, but didn't do much in a blowout victory. The Cheetah was on the Reserve/COVID-19 list earlier in the week, but was activated on Saturday for Sunday's affair. Hill caught both of his targets for 19 yards, […]

Mecole Hardman Finds End Zone In Week 16

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman saw five targets in a Week 16 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Derrick Gore Leads With 12 Carries In Week 16

Kansas City Chiefs backup running back Derrick Gore saw an expanded role in Week 16 with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (collarbone) exiting early versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gore was quiet before CEH went down, but would finish the contest with 12 carries for 43 yards and three receptions for 61 yards. Much of Gore's work came with […]

Darrel Williams Gets 11 Carries In Week 16

With Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (collarbone) exiting Week 16 early, Darrel Williams saw 11 carries on the afternoon. The veteran was able to rush for 55 yards and also hauled in three receptions for 30 yards. Williams was the main backup before CEH got hurt, but Derrick Gore saw plenty of action […]

Justin Jackson Shines In Week 16

Los Angeles Chargers running back Justin Jackson started in Week 16 versus the Houston Texans with Austin Ekeler inactive and came through in a big way for his fantasy managers. The veteran saw 11 carries for 64 yards and a touchdown and he also chipped in with eight receptions for 98 yards. The touchdown was […]

Joshua Palmer Finds End Zone In Week 16

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Josh Palmer saw an extended opportunity with wide receivers Mike Williams and Jalen Guyton both sidelined in Week 16 versus the Houston Texans due to COVID-19. The rookie was targeted six times on the afternoon and caught five balls for 43 yards and a touchdown. Palmer's touchdown came in garbage […]

Keenan Allen Disappoints In Week 16 Loss

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen struggled in a Week 16 loss versus the Houston Texans. The normally reliable wideout was targeted six times on the afternoon and caught four balls for 35 yards. The veteran has been a steady source of double-digit points on a weekly basis, but just wasn't able to come […]

Justin Herbert Struggles In Upset Loss

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert put together an ugly performance in an upset loss versus the Houston Texans in Week 16. With many fantasy leagues in their semifinals, Herbert couldn't have picked a worse time to lay an egg for his managers. The sophomore signal-caller struggled all day against the Texans defense and finished […]

Travis Kelce - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday, but he is vaccinated and still has a chance to suit up in Week 16 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Kelce is coming off of a huge game in Week 15 with 10 receptions for 191 yards and two touchdowns. The […]

Byron Pringle - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Byron Pringle has seen his snaps increase during the second half of the season and he could see an even bigger uptick with star wide receiver Tyreek Hill currently on the Reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of the team's Week 16 matchup versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hill still has a chance to […]

Mecole Hardman - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has had a rough season and has lost snaps during the second half of the season, but he could see an increase in playing time with star wide receiver Tyreek Hill currently on the Reserve/COVID-19 list with his status for Sunday up in the air for Week 16's […]

Tyreek Hill - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday after testing positive for the virus and is in danger of missing Week 16 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Clyde Edwards-Helaire - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is coming off of a disappointing Week 15 performance with just 32 yards on the ground and a pair of receptions for 18 yards, but he will look to get back on track in an appealing matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16. The Steelers defense has […]

Patrick Mahomes - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has had a rough season and his Week 16 matchup versus the Pittsburgh Steelers doesn't present the most appetizing matchup on paper. The Steelers have limited quarterbacks to just 242 yards and a little over one touchdown per game with nine interceptions on the season. Mahomes just hasn't been […]

Jared Cook - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Jared Cook hasn't helped managers much this season, but will draw a favorable matchup versus the Houston Texans in Week 16. The Texans have really struggled against the tight end position this season and are allowing five receptions and just over 55 yards per game to the position. For the […]

Mike Williams - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams has been a stud or dud all season long and will draw a favorable matchup versus the Houston Texans in Week 16. The big receiver will get to go up against a Texans defense that has allowed 167 yards and under a touchdown per game in 2021. Williams […]

Keenan Allen - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has been a consistent contributor for managers all season and he will look to keep that going versus the Houston Texans in Week 16. For the year, Allen has caught 92 balls for 1007 yards and five touchdowns. The good news for the veteran is that he will […]

Justin Jackson - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Chargers running back Justin Jackson could see extended opportunities in Week 16 versus the Houston Texans with starting running back Austin Ekeler currently on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. The Texans run defense has been exploited all season long and is allowing 125 yards and over a touchdown per game on the ground. They have […]

Austin Ekeler - Week 16 Outlook for Fantasy Football

Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, and that will make his status iffy going into a Week 16 matchup versus the Houston Texans. It comes at a bad time with the fantasy playoffs underway and the Texans presenting a tasty matchup for the star running back. […]
