Clyde Edwards-Helaire Downgraded To Out For Week 17
Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He could not practice this week and was ultimately ruled out for Week 17. Jerick McKinnon was promoted from the 53-man roster in a corresponding move. Darrel Williams has played well while filling in for CEH as the Chiefs lead back. The 26-year-old rushed for 55 yards on 11 carries while catching three passes for 30 yards in the Week 16 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. McKinnon and Derrick Gore will serve as backups to Williams in Sunday's game. Williams becomes a high-end RB2 against Cincnatti's defense, ranking seventh in rush DVOA.
