Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - Waiver Wire Picks for Monday 9/6

Top daily fantasy baseball streamers and waiver wire adds for 9/6/21. Frank Ammirante identifies MLB hitters and starting pitchers to stream based on matchups.

artWelcome to another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Are you playing in leagues with daily moves and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you and all of your streaming needs.

Each day RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from Yahoo! leagues.

Today we have a 12-game slate, giving us a deep pool of streamers.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Hitter Streamers for 9/6 - Shallow Leagues

Kyle Seager (3B, LHB, SEA) 66% Rostered

Matchup: at HOU RHP Lance McCullers

Seager has really demonstrated his power upside of late, smacking four homers in his last 10 games, including two with six RBI against the D-Backs on September 4th. The veteran third baseman now has 33 home runs on the season, which is already a career-high. Seager is slugging .541 since the All-Star Break. You have to like this power upside, even in the tough matchup against McCullers.

Jonathan Villar (2B/3B/SS, SHB, NYM) 48% Rostered

Matchup: at WAS LHP Patrick Corbin

Villar has been scorching hot of late, going 16-for-35 (.457) with nine runs, three homers, six RBI, and one steal in his last eight games. He's slashing .287/.333/.417 against lefties this season and he'll face a struggling one in Corbin here. Villar has been a fixture in the leadoff spot for a red-hot Mets lineup that put up 33 runs in their last four games. His position flexibility and speed upside makes him a no-brainer here.

Luis Urias (2B/3B/SS, RHB, MIL) 37% Rostered

Matchup: vs. PHI RHP Zack Wheeler

Urias has found his power stroke lately, going 10-for-38 (.263) with five runs, three homers, and six RBI in his last 10 games. He's now slashing .285/.361/.523 since the All-Star Break. Urias' hot-hitting has bumped him up to the leadoff spot in this Brewers lineup. While it's definitely a tough matchup against Wheeler, I'm still comfortable streaming Urias given his strong play and favorable team context.

Hitter Streamers for 9/6 - Deeper Leagues

Leody Taveras (OF, SHB, TEX) 12% Rostered

Matchup: at LAA RHP Jaime Barria

It felt like ages ago when Taveras was being coveted as a late-round sleeper for his speed upside. While he really disappointed us this season, he's gotten scorching hot recently, going 8-for-24 (.333) with four runs, two homers, four RBI, and three steals in his last six games. This kind of power-speed upside makes him an immediate add in all formats. Taveras has also been bumped to the leadoff spot. Fire him up.

Carter Kieboom (3B/SS, RHB, WAS) 6% Rostered

Matchup: vs. NYM RHP Trevor Williams

Kieboom has come alive lately, reminding everyone why he was considered a top prospect. He's slashing .250/.342/.422 with six homers since the All-Star Break, including two homers in his last seven games. He has an exploitable matchup against Williams here. Kieboom has also hit as high as fifth in the batting order during this hot stretch, making him an even more appealing streamer.

Lane Thomas (OF, RHB, WAS) 2% Rostered

Matchup: vs. NYM RHP Trevor Williams

Thomas is another Nationals hitter worth streaming against Williams, making for a nice pairing with Kieboom in a potential stack in DFS. Thomas has homered in back-to-back games and has hit three in his last five. He's also been bumped to the leadoff spot in this lineup. He's widely available in almost all formats, so you need to take the plunge because this is a hot hitter in a favorable lineup slot.

Pitcher Streamers for 9/6 - Shallow Leagues

Tarik Skubal (LHP, DET) 46% Rostered

Matchup: at PIT

Skubal's strikeout upside plus the exploitable matchup makes him an obvious streamer for Monday's slate. The young lefty has racked up 150 strikeouts in 133 innings. This is an exploitable matchup against one of the worst lineups in baseball in the Pirates. Skubal should be able to turn in a quality start with high strikeout upside. We can expect him to be one of the more popular pitching plays in DFS.

Pitcher Streamers for 9/6 - Deep Leagues

Kyle Freeland (LHP, COL) 22% Rostered

Matchup: vs. SF

Freeland has been fantastic in the second half, putting up a 3.12 ERA and 1.06 WHIP with 49 strikeouts in 49 innings. While it's obviously tough facing a Giants lineup at Coors, Freeland has actually been very good at home during this stretch, allowing a combined 11 runs in 34 innings (2.91 ERA). Ride the wave here and fire up Freeland, don't let Coors scare you away from this one.
