Kyle Larson just could not find the right line with eight laps to go in the FireKeepers Casino 400 on Sunday. That cost him the race more than anything. He battled back to finish in third and ended up about two-tenths of a second off the lead. Larson was clawing back tenths of a second even on William Byron. Again, it was not quite enough for the No. 5 car who was upfront all day once again. He finished second after Stage 1 and third after Stage 2. In the end, Larson ran out of time. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver did extend his points lead over Denny Hamlin a little more. He heads into Daytona Saturday night looking for his sixth win on the season in the regular-season finale. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
