DraftKings NFL DFS Lineup Picks for Saturday 12/19 - Daily Fantasy Football

Jorge's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and Week 15's Saturday Afternoon/Night Night Football matchup. His daily fantasy football advice and value plays.

We are treated to some NFL football this Saturday afternoon as the Buffalo Bills take on the Denver Broncos at 4:30 pm while the Carolina Panthers head to Wisconsin to take on the Green Bay Packers at 8:15 pm. The Bills and Broncos game features an over/under of 48.5 with the Bills being favored by 5.5 points while the Panthers and Packers game has an over/under of 51.5 with the Packers being favored by 9 points.

In this article, I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Saturday NFL Football slate on December 19th (Week 15). These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Saturday Two-Game Week 15 Slate

Buffalo Bills vs. Denver Broncos (-5.5),  48.5 O/U

Carolina Panthers vs. Green Bay Packers (-9),  51.5 O/U

DFS Quarterbacks

Josh Allen, QB - vs. DEN ($7,200)

If there is one quarterback that has truly impressed and has grown at their given position over the past several seasons, it has been Josh Allen. Allen is having a tremendous season as he has thrown for over 3,600 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and is averaging 26.1 DK points per game. Allen has scored double-digit DK points in every game this season and has had multi-passing touchdown performances in four out of his last five games played. Allen is averaging over five rushing carries per game as well and has six rushing touchdowns which only adds to his ceiling from a fantasy standpoint. Denver hasn't been the best defensively as they are allowing over 25 points per game and while they do a solid job against the pass, they allow teams to average 131 yards per game on the ground which 27th in the NFL. If Allen can do some damage with his legs and find the end zone several times, he could be the highest-scoring quarterback on the slate.

Aaron Rodgers, QB - vs. CAR ($7,800)

If we are looking for upside on this slate, we can't forget about Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has been on fire all season long as he has thrown for over 3,600 yards, 39 touchdowns while only throwing four total interceptions on the season. From a fantasy perspective, Rodgers has had eight straight games where he has scored 20+ DK points and has also thrown three touchdowns or more touchdowns in seven out of his last eight games played! The Panthers' defense should not be a challenge for Rodgers as they allow opposing teams to score over 25 points per game and they rank 26th against opposing quarterbacks. While Rodgers is the top quarterback option in terms of salary, his production is just too good to pass up on which makes this one of the best spots on the entire slate to pay up for a player.

DFS Running Backs

Mike Davis, RB - vs. GB ($6,500)

With CMC looking like he will miss another week, it is time to consider Mike Davis for your lineups. Davis has been a solid replacement for McCaffrey all season long and while the Panthers tend to fall behind in games rather quickly, Davis is still looked at in the passing game which is what helps his overall value. Davis had a solid outing against Denver as he found the end zone twice and scored 26 DK points. Davis is averaging almost five receptions per game over his last five games played and has gotten double-digit carried in three straight games so the usage for Davis is there.

The matchup against Green Bay is solid as they rank 27th against opposing running backs and allow 109 rushing yards per game. If the Panthers can stay close and keep up with the Packers' offense, there is a good chance Davis will be engaged throughout the game and will get his touches and targets to pay off his price.

Zack Moss, RB - vs. DEN ($4,500)

With some high priced players on this slate, we will need to find some value to free up some salary for the rest of our rosters. When looking for value, we can't help but notice the pricing on the Bills running backs. While their running back situation is a tough one to navigate through, they are both priced down on the slate which makes them both in play. Zack Moss looks to be the one that could have a slight edge over Devin Singletary as he has out-snapped him in two of the last three games played and had more rushing attempts than Singletary in their most recent game played against Pittsburgh. While they both carry some risk due to sharing the workload and the ever-popular vulture rushing touchdown from Josh Allen, they could provide some upside that could help your tournament lineups.

DFS Wide Receivers

Davante Adams, WR - vs. CAR ($9,400)

There is no better fantasy receiver option in the league than Davante Adams. Adams has been on fire all season long and is just a lock in all formats. He has produced double-digit DK points in 10 out of 11 games played and has eclipsed 20+ DK points in six out of his last nine games played. What is even more impressive is that he has hauled in a receiving touchdown in eight straight games with three of those games resulting in multi-touchdown performances. The Panthers' defense has not been good this season as they are allowing 260 passing yards per game and have allowed 15 receiving touchdowns to opposing wide receivers. Adams should feast in this matchup and should be a core play in all formats.

Cole Beasley, WR - vs. DEN ($4,700)

The pricing on Cole Beasley is too good to pass up on this two-game slate. Beasley is second on the team in targets with 92 on the season and has actually seen double-digit targets in three out of his last four games played. He has an astounding 80% catch rate on the season and is tied for the second-most receiving touchdowns on the team with Gabriel Davis.  The Bills have become a pass-happy team as of late as they have had 14 passing touchdowns over the last five games with two of those going to Beasley. With those numbers factored in and then seeing the price-tag of just $4,700, it is just too good of a spot to pass up for all formats.

DFS Tight Ends

Robert Tonyan Jr., TE - vs. CAR ($4,500)

Rodgers has plenty of weapons to throw to but one that has been a consistent target all season long has been Robert Tonyan. Tonyan has seen the third-most targets in this Packers offense and has the second-most receiving touchdowns with eight. He has seen five targets per game over his last four games played and offers arguably the best floor and ceiling at the tight end position on this slate. The Panthers are tied for the most receptions allowed to opposing tight ends with 75 catches on the season and have allowed six receiving touchdowns to the position. If looking for the best overall tight end play on the slate, look no further than Tonyan.

Noah Fant, TE - vs. BUF ($3,800)

Noah Fant is listed as questionable for this game but if he is good to go, he could be a great play for his overall pricepoint. He checks in at just $3,800 which is a steal for someone who has produced like him all season long. Fant is second in targets on the team with 67 targets but leads the entire offense with 44 catches. While the Denver offense has been inconsistent, they do usually play from behind which results in a positive game script for Fant as he will likely see more target opportunities. The Bills Defense has surrendered the third-most yards to tight ends (833) and is tied for the most receptions allowed to opposing tight ends (75). If Fant is healthy and able to go, he could have a great day in a good matchup.

DFS Defense/Special Teams

Buffalo Bills, D/ST - vs. DEN ($3,000)

Choosing the right defense on this slate could be tricky and with limited options, it leaves us little room for error. The Bills are coming off of an impressive win against the Pittsburgh Steelers and their defense really showed up as they held the Steelers to just 224 total yards of offense and 15 total points. The Bills were able to generate two interceptions while also holding the Steelers to just one third-down conversion on 10 attempts.

The Bills have forced 21 turnovers which are tied for fourth-best in the league and they get a juicy matchup as they take on the turnover-prone Denver Broncos. The Broncos have thrown 21 total interceptions on the season and lead the league with 29 total giveaways so if this Bills Defense can generate some pressure, it could be a long afternoon for Drew Lock and company.

Good luck, RotoBallers, and remember to mix it up and don't be afraid to be different in these large field GPPs!
