Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask (personal) has opted out and will not play for the remainder of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The 33-year-old announced Saturday that he was leaving Toronto, on the day of the Bruins match-up against the Hurricanes in Game 3 of their first round series. "I want to be with my team competing, but at this moment there are things more important than hockey in my life, and that is being with my family," Rask said. "I want to thank the Bruins and my teammates for their support and wish them the best." Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney said there was not a specific incident or family emergency that forced Rask's decision after a month inside the bubble in Toronto. With Rask out of the picture for the remainder of the Bruins Playoff run, goaltender Jaroslav Halak will start Game 3 on Saturday and becomes the teams' most reliable netminder with previous Playoff experience.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
