FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/21/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

A cruddy little two-game slate tonight, so I am not going to waste the time on the more hopeful picks. We need the players that will be the highest scoring regardless of price. With Damian Lillard out and Anfernee Simons questionable, look for players like Rodney Hood, Carmelo Anthony, and Anthony Tolliver to all have some value tonight. This game is going to be a great game for Giannis Antetokounmpo and since the Trail Blazers have zero frontcourt help, grab the rebounders in this game. Despite Brook Lopez not showing the most promise for DFS, tonight could be a huge night for him to exceed his projected.

Welcome to the NBA slate for Wednesday night RotoBallers. In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/21/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on  FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Let's dive right in!

FanDuel DFS Guards

George Hill - PG, MIL vs. POR ($4,400)

Eric Bledsoe is a great play here as well, but I can't help but go with cheaper picks. George Hill is a guaranteed play off the bench since he will get the minutes and he'll get enough usage to exceed his projected. Normally, we need Hill to hit shots to be worthwhile, but tonight he should be the one bench option that should see minutes with the starters. He is one of the few scoring options on the Bucks second unit, but he should have a more needed role tonight since the Bucks and Trail Blazers are destined for a shootout.

Tyler Johnson - SG, PHO vs. NO ($3,500)

As another super cheap option, Tyler Johnson has been getting the minutes to make him worth it. The only downside is that the small tear he was on seems all but over. Unless there are injuries tonight, he might be capped for upside. Johnson would normally feast on this Pelicans defense, but if he doesn't get enough minutes then there is only so much he can do. When I made this pick I was banking on him being able to captain the second unit with no resistance from New Orleans, allowing him to hit close to 22-25 FPTS on the night. Not a simple task but based on the matchup it's hard for me to look past Johnson for value.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF, MIL vs. POR ($12,600)

A very expensive piece for today that is unfortunately going to be worth it. With so few superstars playing and Damian Lillard out, the only choice is to go with Antetokounmpo. He needs to hit 60 FPTS to make it worth it, but he has a better chance of going off for closer to 70 FPTS. The scoring of Portland mixed with their inability to defend means that Antetokounmpo is going to own both paints and has upside in rebounding and defensive stats.

Nassir Little - PF, POR @ MIL ($4,100)

The start of the season was not ideal, but the previous two games have been huge for Nassir Little in every way. His confidence saw an immediate boost after finding a way to produce in his first real stint coming off the bench. He will be limited in terms of minutes playing behind Carmelo Anthony, but his ability to rebound and stretch the floor makes him the perfect side-kick to Anthony. Look for him to continue his streak of productive games tonight, but moving forward it will be difficult for him to be exceed a price higher than $5,500.

Kelly Oubre Jr.  - PF, PHO vs. NO ($7,300)

This is more of a feeling based on who the Pelicans are running in their lineups and Kelly Oubre seems like the exact player to cause problems the entire game. The Pelicans rotation consists of hustle players that tend to resort to their athleticism to produce and Oubre is the epitome of a hustle player. He has a size advantage over the Pelicans forwards and it should lead to an excess of rebounds, second chance points, but most importantly, easy looks at the rim. The Pelicans have such a small impact defensively coming from their frontcourt that Oubre's upside comes from his ability to expose those types of defensives.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Robin Lopez - C, MIL vs. POR ($3,500)

You can't get any cheaper than this and since Robin Lopez had no problem producing in minimal minutes last game, hopefully Coach Budenholzer can find a reason to give him closer to 15-20 tonight. The Trail Blazers have no interior presence outside of Hassan Whiteside and even he has off games that seem more common than not. If Lopez can get enough minutes he will be the ideal basement level price, but the risk is there. He needs to actually get minutes. Brook Lopez is a much safer option here.
